Just remember, I could have imprisoned your stone somewhere nobody would ever find it.

Now instead, Natus has to deal with him!  :P

Hahaha! I'm gonna write Rourke's scene not for sure today!

And, Forsaken, do you mind if I manipulate the corrupted Scholar (convince fellow scholars to follow Astra'ath, creating a schism in their ranks, etc.)

That was my intention, to let you control him if you wanted.

And I will PM you with the instructions Astra'ath gave him.

Well yesh, this body is much better than a normal, weak body in Sothurn's opinion. Not that he has an opinion anymore. >_>

You can control him from now on if you like. It's good you finally made your demigod/avatar.

I have no problem with you controlling him if you'd like to. Right now he has little free will, but it will be restored to him if he demonstrates his loyalty and does well. His failure and loss of faith at the end are what made me clamp down a bit.

In fact I haven't given him any directions or orders yet because I wanted to know if you still wanted to control him.

Hey, if you give him free will, make sure to keep him drugged with pleasure from there on. We can't have him lose faith for a second time, now can we?

But no, I don't really need to control him. Sothurn's all yours.

wait; Forsaken: How does Sothurn demonstrate his loyalty without his free will? Loyalty's meant to be about following someone of your own will, innit?

That's one way of looking at it. On the other hand, you have slavish dedication born of deception or of domination. That kind of loyalty is mindless, yet it can be more dangerous than the kind you speak of.

Well it would become clear once I started roleplaying it, but basically I will be watching closely and if he doesn't do as he is told then I step in and control him directly while punishing his mind. If he does as I command without my intervention, he demonstrates loyalty and competence and perhaps next time I won't have to watch so closely.

If he turns out to be unusable, I will strip his soul out and replace it.
