Yeah, but even if you manage to flip him over a few times and deal a bunch of cut damage to it, you can't cut it off.

Nibblesnarf? Pffff, I like the japanese name better.

Anyways, the only breakable part is the gills. You can shoot the uvula for massive damage or make it flinch when it's charging at you.

Finally got into hardmode. Now to chip away at low rank gear before heading into high rank now that I know I have all the items I can get for low rank.

Are the hunting quests that make special carves more likely (eg hunting the great jaggi and getting the king's frill) repeatable?

It seems that Monster Hunter Frontier was not officially released in China (though there was an announcement that they wanted to do it, I don't think anything came of it). This is probably the end result of that process.

The updated graphics are probably to fit in with the 'expected' graphics of PC mmos of modern times.
