Oh god, those eyebrows...

Excuse me, guys, but I have to go explode. From laughter. In a corner.

What did he change?
Parley-Smith. I'm jokingly exaggerating above, of course. But I do feel it was a bad choice, both for their character development and for the comic. It's disturbingly sentimental and cliché.
Basically, he just ended the best part of my two favourite characters. And that makes me little bit sad.

It's actually the opposite of the cliché, since the most common trope is to pull the will-they-won't-they nonsense over at least a couple of story arcs.

I didn't think there was any "will they-won't they" to it, it was clear from almost their first appearance that they was gonna end up together. They were basically together already, what with the teleporting eachother around and stuff. And I liked their interplay. It might not change much in the future (as I said, I basically considered them together already), but only the future will tell, right?

And using one cliché instead of another is not the opposite of cliché.
And then there's the issue of how this pushes Jeanne further into Mary Sue territory. [overreaction]Having her magically solve all of Parley showing-emotion-issues by calling her a coward is hardly character development, it's cheating! :(
