I think Toady might've made the random word selector a bit more random. I was getting sick of "Abbeydagger" and "Cloisteredabbeys" every other name, so that's pretty great.

I was hitting random a bunch, and generated The Works of Humor.  Damn i wish libraries were implemented...

Lovecraft was available in previous versions - i have a fort by that name documented on the wiki.  Can't remember how far that one got offhand.

Yes... Lovecrafted is progressing.  As soon as I got that name, I knew that this would be the one, the fort that will grow to great heights, and descend to the lowest depths.

First post-survival project will be an illithid statue straddling the entrance road...  hopefully I can locate a nicely sized vein of pitchblende.....

Yeah, I don't know -why- but nothing seems more Lovecraftian to me than a giant radioactive statue of a squid man.

I got a dwarf civ with the name "The Merged Oil".
Of course, I had to name my group "The Gears of Oil", and my fortress "Oilgate". I'm planning on a giant oil rig thing for a megaproject, but it will pump magma.
Magma is the oil of dwarves!
