If they had thought of this earlier, they could have gotten out of Ancient Egypt so much faster.

Okay, so, today this girl I know-Lauren, just took a sudden dis-interest in talking to me. Is she just on her period or something?

Maybe the final plague was actually time-travelling Mossad hitmen.

Now I'm picturing a Jewish James Bond. This image deeply troubles me.

Yeah, I don't think our foreign ministry was overly thrilled with the Israeli secret services cloning a set of (apparently random) British passports for use on an assassination mission.  Partly because, if news of the cloning hadn't got out, Britain could well have been accused of the assassination.

I totaly agree on that. Imagine the cirsis if that hadn't come out...

I'm picturing a portly, middle-aged man with frizzy hair stirring a glass of Manischewitz.
"Berkowitz. Shlomo Berkowitz."

Or else that Adam Sandler movie that I made sure to miss.

The fact that "Shlomo" is not only a fairly common name, but is actually KING SOLOMON'S name, has caused me a limitless amount of mirth and chortling.

We derailed it so it wouldn't get locked, which it will if it remains a discussion about Israel's politics

Indirect way of saying: We know the Jews handling things in Israel are fucking up.  Just kill this thread now, before everyone gets into a spiral of bitching about them.

There is so much racism in this thread.

The Jewish leaders are making the people of Israel an integral part of the problem. Hardline Jew Conservatives lead Israel, these people want Israel to only be for Jews.  It does not help that enough Israelites and Jewish supporters in the international community comply with/support the Israel policy we see today.

I agree with a shared Israel, but there are so many ways to support this idea without calling those who disagree "Jewish Supporters", as if supporting Jews meant not supporting Palestinians.

Except that I meant "Jewish Supporters" as those who don't support the Palestinians.  I should have been more specific.

From what I can see, there is little or no progress in sharing the holy land.
Israel is expanding its foothold via settlement and generally not permitting the same for Palestinians/Muslims.
Legitimacy by having its people building/entrenching their lives in X settlement...

In a sense, this will strengthen Israel hold on those lands.  Allowing them more legitimacy to keep these settlements and giving less reason and clout for the international community to do something about it. It will complicate things and will lead to further inaction by the international community.

The leaders of Israel understand that...  With growth and time...

Its effective and the international community, specifically the US is too much of a pansy to do anything about it due to the unique circumstances and the carebear stance they've taken to the Jews because of their history of persecution and what-not.
