Loud Whispers, you are epic. Take my sock.
Lord Whispers that must have been ;FUN! for the humans.
Can I get that world save after your adventurer dies? I wanna read the legends.

Haven't even begun the main invasion yet, had to take a detour through another town I bumped in, raising the undead count to over 600. Also @Corai thank you :£ @Coolbay1 The zombies appear to be getting faster >:] @Scelly9 sure :D

You know, you should write that. Or put it into song.
Along these lines.

It only takes a second to show someone how you feel about them. The police call it "indecent exposure", but whatever.

I also like the name of the region, 'Killer-Steppes of Euphoria' :P

Strangely fitting for a person having fun with killing and zombifying people :3

I can confirm that having a legion of zombie servants materialize with you in the middle of the town market is the best thing ever. If you leave your zombies behind and come back, they'll still be there, chilling in people's houses.

I just finally encountered my first vampire. Accused her, she was immediately nibbled to death by neighboring villagers. And she left no blood! Is there a way to get blood from the corpse? Since we can't butcher sentients I couldn't think of a way. :/

Recently, I discovered a fortress full of hostile Dusk elves (Genesis mod). Only 2 were competant fighters. These 2 were tortured horribly, but given a funeral at sea. Both of them were buried with the same items, 1 gold coin, 2 swan wings, 1 duck skull and 5 chunks of crab meat.

I genned a world with 1050 years of civilization, and vampires have become a plague. Towns, cities and even keeps are abandoned. Vampires have kill counts of 50 minimum, typical ~400, with the upper limit I've seen over 2k. About 1 in 8 people remaining are vampires, except in abandoned cities where the only living are the merchants in the bazaar, trading with...each other, I guess.

I couldn't even consider the advantages of vampirism under these conditions; the herd has been overgrazed. I'm lucky enough to even find a living blood supply. I wonder why these bloodsuckers aren't dying out from overpopulation.

EDIT: I found a tower of necros who were friendly and quite helpful in mapping out the surrounding areas. Their minions not so much, so I led them outside to have some stern words with them. I found that if you stack them all up next to a plant and set it ablaze, in an hour or so they'll all respawn back inside, animated again. After going through tedious reclearing, I got to the slab, examined it, picked it up and read it, and sure enough, it said "The secrets of life and death". But I didn't get any new abilities, and the corpses were still hostile.

Do elves not get to learn necromancy? They're already ageless, so I guess they'd skip that chapter, but the ability to command and pass through zombies would still be useful. Is there a bug or am I doing this wrong?

Elves cannot necromance because they're already immortal, therefore they will never learn the secrets of death.

Also, I just realized: What if the secrets of life and death are the words: "the secrets of life and death"?

So, I'm trying to assemble a group of adventurers to return to an old fort I lost to cave monsters and avenge it, to make it safe for reclamation.

First up, Erin SensualBaker of Brushing, a female human zombie necromancer swordsman:

Then Jupiter Twilightsparkle (I name these after people I know, this one happens to like ponies a lot)

Came to a city surrounded by a cluster of lairs and didn't even bother visiting the lord before getting to work. Turns out it's full moon night, and the beasts are hunting. Found a wereskunk, already killed by a family of four vampires, a weregila, two werelizards, a werejackal, weremonitor, and weregiraffe. That was done in just a few hours and it was still night, so I went to town and hit the sewers. It happened to have no water, so I could wander the whole thing unrestricted -- except for one drop-off, two levels deep that ended in only 5/7 water. Cleared everything else, visited court and got my applause for the mighty slaying I'd done.

Then went around the walls to check for another entrance to where I couldn't get in, and found a deep, 4x4 pit. I walked around to survey it, and a single blowgun dart made me dodge right over the edge. I fell four floors into the middle of a dozen of serpentfolk with their chieftess and broke everything except my legs. I kicked about half of them to death, and they knocked me unconscious about 3 times before they finally killed me.

Found a law-giver vampire with a kill-count Over 9000! No wonder the city is abandoned, all the critters in the sewers combined hadn't killed that many. When I called her out for being a vampire, naturally all the faction heads standing around turned on her and attacked. But this is a new one on me; all the commoners standing around revealed themselves to be cultists, and turned on them.

My dwarven swordsman spent half a day throwing rocks, then after becoming a Legendary thrower and archer, he killed some local vampires.
Then he went looking for a nearby lair only to get charged at by a Yak Bull, which instantly broke one of his legs and knocked out half his upper teeth, which knocked him unconcious.
And then he died.

I accused a law-giver of being a vampire based on his 5 human bone jewelry items. Cue the entire keep metaphorically exploding as loyalists and cultists show themselves and start fighting. Since I couldn't walk and was surrounded by cultists, I rolled down the stairs to the dungeon and sat there for a bit. I saw a wounded cultist come down the stairs and run off into one of the dungeon doors so I followed him. I couldn't find him, but out of nowhere a kobold/human band of brigands storms through the door and attacks. I kill all 6 of them, collect their purses, then walk crawl back up the stairs to see all the people in the room, vampire included, dead. I go up and around the stairways to get back to the front and see 3 cultists and a dead person. I dispatch all cultists easily, one miner was especially entertaining because I made him fall off the 3-story high stairway and shatter a lot of bones, then go back up the stairs to get the rest of these douches in the building. A cultist hunter attacks me on the stairs, but I kill him easily. I come to a room with 3 elven cultists and 1 human, kill them all easily. 1 room left. I walk up there to see a horror show.

First, there's a pile of crap that you normally find in keeps. Then there's a layer of blood on them and every inch of wall and floor space in that half of the room. Then there's 6 bodies strewn about, most of them lying on said piles of crap. Then there's 2 unharmed cultists standing on top of them. We charge, and suddenly another appears out of the stairs and 1-hits my ally who was badly wounded. Those 3 cultists stabbed me dozens of times, drove me down the stairs, across the building and then finally made me die of bleeding on top of a stairwell. I roll down 3 floors' worth of stairs then my body slams into the floor at the bottom in a puddle of blood, most of it my own.

This is why I love adventure mode, stuff like this.
