Slowly he picked up himself and exited the jaguars cavern, finding no treasures or loot. He arrived at the town and shared his new story of glory to the peasants, where was greeted with cheer and two peasants offered to join him, though he only accepted one. Ahab was told to go to the Yelledpartner fort for surely they have more to offer to a dwarf of his skill. Ahab bid farewell to the populace, but not before heading to the weapon shop. He purchased an iron longsword and an iron mace, prepared for his journey, he began walking to Yelledpartner.
He arrived at noon and was greeted by a female human swordsman “Oi! Whats a li'l Dorf doin here?” she said, staring down at the little creature.
“Aye I'm a Dwarf alright, me name's Ahab Burnedblade and I come from the Wiltedtooth mountain halls, and I be seekin adventure and followers, I will lead ya ta glory and slaughter, the stars will know our names!” Ahab struck a pose of power and looked over to the swordsman who seemed mildly interested at most. “You won't last three nights Ahab, you got tha look of a li'l dog trynna become alpha. Anything is better than this god forsaken fort, however, so lead me Ahab. My name is Rislu Iniddothan.”
Ahab smiled and recruited a hamerman and a wrestler as well. He entered the keep of the castle and saw lord Tohwot. He bowed and the king granted him permission to speak.
“Hello lord, my name is Ahab, I am but a dwarf from the Wiltedtooth mountain halls, they are places a' chaos now and I left from there ta become better 'en all that. So I ask you lord, what does a dwarf like me have to offer your people?” The lord scoffed and turned his head, raising hise nose high into the air.
“Much of my troubles are far outside the grasp of a dwarf, you are better suited making holes in mountains or pulling a lever.” Ahab growled and gripped his sword, and the guards locked their spears in front of him.
“However, we do need some vermin humans killed, They are traitors against the people of the world and we seek their death to better Opuxah. Bring the list!” Tohwot shouted and a child came out with possession of a long paper with peoples names on it, their location, the their misdeeds. He handed it to Ahab who looked it over and raised an eye to the Lord “9 different bandit leaders? Lord, tis' nothin but child play, certainly I can do something better for yo-” Tohwot sighed and looked down at him. “If it is childs play it should be no problem to a 'dwarf' like yourself. If you do not want to take these men out then please leave for you are not going to help in any other way.” Ahab sighed and put the paper in his backpack.
“Very well, I am off! See ya 'n a couple'a days me liege!” Ahab said and bid farewel, He headed towards the closest two camps, HelmSparkles and Conflictmetal.
Ahab and his crew made it to the camps before nightfall but decided to rest and get ready for the battle tomorrow. So they fell back a couple yards and slept for the night.
17th of Malachite/420/Opuxah/The Eternal DimensionAt dawn the band headed for the camp, the sun was just rising as they reached the sleeping bandits. Ahab snuck by most of them and found one of his targets, Thora Shanklens, with a quick stab of the sword he pierced her brain and she was dead instantly. However a nearby bandit was awokan by the stab and set upon Ahab, Rislu charged the bandit spearman and slashed his hand off, blood sailing everywhere. The fight was on and Ahab heard the shouts of a man screaming at him “My name is Thadar Arrowbook! Prepare to die scum!” He charged at Ahab but the unlucky peasent blocked him, breaking his leg bone as Thadar stabbed a spear in his leg. The wrestler was knocked unconscious by a a maceman and the hammerman was on the floor bleeding in pain after killed a lasher. Rislu was also on the floor bleeding bad from her leg after an attempt to kill Thadar. Ahab charged Thadar and they both rushed each other, then suddenly Ahab pulled out an iron pike and threw it at Thadar, the pike pierced his upper chest and remained inside. Ahab kicked Thadar in his leg while he was stunned from the pike in the chest, shattering his leg bone, Thadar fell over and was at the mercy of Ahab. Ahab slashed for what seemed like hours eventually killed Thadar from blood loss. He slowly rose to his feet, blood smears covering every inch of his body, and he began looking for his companions. Rislu crawled towards Ahab, and the wreslter slowly came to, and was able to walk, but the spearman was not as fortunate. Ahab and his group walked back towards Yelledpartner, reaching the fort just after nightfall. The band of adventurers fell asleep inside one of the castles towers.
18th of Malachite/420/Opuxah/The Eternal DimensionAhab and his band of warriors woke at dawn and went to report Thadar and Thora as dead to the lord, who seemed surprised by the outcome.
“My, it seems you did do justice to the land, those two were fierce thieves who would rob our towns in the night But at such a price! These loyal subjects are maimed, you are reckless Ahab!” he shouted, and Ahab leaned back for a moment, Rislu held herself up by the blade of her sword, and looked up at the lord, while he sighed and rubbed the bridge of his nose.
“Aye but they would gladly do it again Tohwot, they seek justice just the same as me n' if 'tis happened ta me I'd gladly keep fighting on, even more so 'cause a tha loss.” Ahab spoke, watching the guards carefully. Tohwot paused for a moment before sighing and looking down at the dwarf.
“Alright, you may continue onward with this task, but please, do be more careful next time, for the sake of my people, Ahab?” Tohwot leaned down slightly and Ahab nodded.
“Aye, I'll take more people wit' me this time, got too hellish at the encampment, eh?” he said, and the Hammerman, Uhos Anirodoh nodded and looked down at his paralyzed legs. Ahab later recruited a swordsman named Guki, a hammerwoman named Ona, a wrestler named Sizet, a spearwoman named Awthrar, and a hammerman named Ino. His band set off on their next target. Bini Agedrev
20th of Malachite/420/Opuxah/The Eternal DimensionThe band of adventurers reached Bini in two days of travel, with the sun high in the western sky. As they entered the camp Bini caught sight of them first. He howled in bloodlust and told the adventurers to prepare and meet the blood god. As he raced to kill the group Ahab dodged his first strike and threw a silver bolt at the human lasher. It tore the muscle through his left hand, but he managed to strike Awthrar in the foot. Ahab bashed the master in his hand with his iron war hammer but the cunning Bini parried the attack and jumped away from the group. Suddenly Sizet began to kick and push the master, offering no mercy, the group lunged at him and proceeded to turn him into a fleshy paste caked with blood, he had no group with him and no one missed his horrible soul. The band turned into Wintergleamed, a small town near the encampment to report the news and rest for a day or two...
22nd of Malachite/420/Opuxah/The Eternal DimensionAs Ahab and his adventurers departed again they were visited by a peasent who wanted to join for adventure. Ahab agreed but said not to get in the way of anyone. They reached the camp of Kon Squeezingmoths in late day and met an axeman and Kon, a fat girl seeking their deaths. Ahab slashed the axemans leg off with his sword and set to work on Kon. He slashed her arm off and bashed her head with the mace but this did not kill her. She slashed Uhos in the legs, and broke his right hand, knocking him unconscious in the process. Ahab bashed his warhammer into the masters head, bruising the muscle and fracturing her upper spine, but she continued to try and fight. Eventually Ahab got a good punch in her ear that jammed the skull through the brain. And the axeman was disposed of after the master was dead. Ahab grinned and shouted in victory. “OI! 'TIS FAT GIRL AIN'T NOTHIN TA WORRY ABOUT, ALL THESE CAMPS ARE FULL'A WEAKLINGS, WE'LL KILL EM ALL!”
