She rested her head upon his lap, eyes shut. His tears were sincere, for he had never experienced such joy. Their matching rings shone in the light, through the suffocating shadows that encompassed them. He smiled, his pleasure undisguised. Even as her lifeless corpse lay before him, even as his blood-drenched hands still shook, he smiled.

These are rather fun. It seems like humor is probably best, though. Building an attachment to any characters seems difficult.

Five pages in two hours? Was the size set to 3 or can you not speed type?

I'd assume it's the second one, which is understandable. Learn to speed type, seriously, it is an awesome skill.

Was writing completely original stuff, took sometime to come up with it. I can type pretty fast.

Letters got back today (It was a nation wide thing) and a girl story won, this if the shit that won.

I woke up with two big beady eyes looking at me.That fat ginger cat again.My friend,Clare the russian hamster came over for lunch. Unfortunatley i didnt get much as she was very hungry and a little bit chubby too! (no offence) Then i had a snooze...Good Night.

Its also going to be published in a book. Is this what people expect from year 8's?

Its about the dangers of losing deeper spiritual meaning in our lives through our over dependence on technology. Totally.

As in made of babies? I guess that could work, but you'll probably need some fat babies in order to get enough skin. You might have to use a few babies if you want the pair of shoes to be of good quality. I'd guess about 5 babies per pair if you want to use just the good leather from the bellies.

I've done a 50-word story before as part of this chlrens poem book. no knowing what to do as I don't have massive amounts of imagination so what I did was something from my diploma. It was like:
the boy paused,finger on the button. The lights blinked down, then a flash of red. The boy tapped his button sending the car racing down the track. His car won!
Somethig like that anyway
