Yes, it's the latter, and yes, it's for first strike, with the range advantage.

Awesome. I think I should have 8 morale though- 1 from spirituality, 1 from clothing, 1 from mushrooms.

I assume mp comes back each turn, meaning I basically get a free vision each turn unless I want to cast something else? Is casting in addition to working the observatory, or do I have to choose one or the other?

Shouldn't I have 5 silver, not 4? I didn't make silver jewelry this turn, I had it from last turn.

Is Strong Iron an alloy? What about Steel?

Looks like. Will fix it.

MP regenerates at the start of each turn, so yes, you essentially get a free vision unless you cast something else. Casting itself can be done while working the observatory, but Lunar Strength requires that Skik accompanies the target unit, which does prevent her from working the observatory. Should Skik gain enough mp to cast Sunfire, she can cast it in defense of the city while working the observatory.

Yes, you should. Will fix it.

For the purposes of the heavy smelter? Yes to both.

Hey, question. If we have multiple casters of the same school in the same place, can they pool their MP? Like, if I had two Constructor units, could I cast two Mage's Mines and an Arcane Craft?

I'll go with no for the time being there. While caster units are quite expensive, I'd still like to err on the side of caution.

Do you have any preferences for how we describe custom technologies we're trying to research? As in, do you prefer if we describe possible foundation techs, names, intended functions, two out of three, etc.? I'm curious on a "what's the best way to describe this action" level, but also just curious if there's any conventions or patterns you find more or less interesting or enjoyable as a GM.

I'd really like to see intended name, intended functions, and potential foundation techs, but I'm not going to enforce that if you can't think of anything in some part. Remember though that I might disagree with, say, foundation techs, and think that you might need another technology, in which case you'll research the additional prerequisite.

I am enjoying the challenges you guys give me with custom technologies (or earlier with your civilizations) even without those aids, though especially intended function would make things easier if the name doesn't help.

So, how much detail are you really looking for here? "Education" seems pretty self-explanatory, but I could go into, say, how I envision it possibly requiring trade and using money to build and/or maintain the building it allows, or how I think a percentage boost is more appropriate than allowing more labor since museums already do the latter.

Vanigo, just give as much detail as you like. What you're giving there surely helps, though.

Abculatter_2, fire dancers use "horse" farms rather than beast pens.

Can I use stone instead of wood for the pasture?

If it's either, it'll say so. You could maybe try to research a tech to allow you to use stone instead of wood, but for the most part you should just accept that not everything in and around your city can be glorious obsidian.

Could still be polished ebony or something, though.
