There's no guarantee that he gets them, but if he does, it's on the basis of his unique technology Enlightenment.

But but, as they say, what's good for the goose - even if you don't have an unique tech, you have an unique civilization, with unique traits, so yes, if you want to research something that is somewhat unique to you, you can get unique units. Or unique spells or buildings for that matter...

HOLY SHIT, HE HAS BADGERS?!

I WANT BADGERS!!! Then I could try to corrupt them with my evil magicks and ride to battle on GIANT TOXIC SLUDGE SPEWING BADGERS OF DEATH!!!


Also, I look forward to seeing other people's unique units now that the concept has been given.

Yeah, I've got enough stone, and I don't really want extraneous upgrades on a river tile.

Hey, about my new constructors, how does Arcane Servitor interact with my Mechanic's Workshop? And can I use Mage's Mine and Earth Dowsing on the same tile?
Oh, and I can't train a unit to trained in the same turn that I raise a new unit, can I? Nor can I reequip a unit?
And am I right in assuming my mechanic's workshop doesn't help make statues?

Arcane Servitor - must have gotten lost while I shuffled a few things around - it applies before the mechanics workshop.

Hm, by the rules as written, you can't, but I don't think I've enforced that. I think they should only prohibit raising more than one unit per turn without a military school.

They aren't technically constructions, but since they add to a building, the mechanic's workshop should help.

Can you change the art so that a two-field farm is just two farms side-by-side, and that a three-field farm is three farms in a triangle? It would make it easier to see.

Also: Alchemy is incredibly righteous. Thanks for that. I mean, I couldn't hazard a guess at how effective it actually is, but man. It's really cool.
(I assume that by "1 blast grenade" you mean "1 unit of blast grenades", or likely 100 blast grenades, 1 for each person in an army? Because having just one grenade would be... pretty strange.)

Heh, yeah, it's an amount of grenades that'll allow one unit to use those grenades once.

So, does that mean it adds one labor and then the total labor gets an extra third added, or does it mean total construction cost is reduced by one and then multiplied by .75?
(Hmm. It says reduces the labor needed, so I guess it would be the latter, huh?)

Oh, and what's that asterisk by the pikemen's attack? First strike or something?
