Glad you've enjoyed the LGWI topic, Chief. To address your Mac bit: Though I've never tried to play Liberal Crime Squad on a Mac, I checked the idea out on the LCSWiki. It says you can use... "wineconsole & curses backend." I'm not sure how to get that all to work, though; you're gonna need to hail down someone with more experience.

http://davidbaumgold.com/tutorials/wine-mac/ here's a tutorial for installing Wine on Mac. Haven't tried myself (I'm a Liberal Linux user). You could also try compiling it from source. If you're really desperate for the game, you'll do with I did when I didn't get DosBox to work with a program - download VirtualBox, get boot discs for some OS with binaries available... trains your computer skills too!

I feel as if pariah is cold and doesn't really care about the new members much (whether they live or die) and I'm guessing you made him like this?

Anyway good videos and write-ups, very enjoyable  :)

Very nice. I don't think Pariah has any previous experience with agents and mercs does he?

If Pariah does have experience with any of those two factions, it is considerably small; I'm trying to think of moments myself where I've taken him to face off against the Ministry of Love or what-have-you, and I'm drawing a blank right now... though I find it hard to believe he's NEVER faced either group. I know Grimith certainly took on the agents at the Ministry of Love before his untimely demise. But, at any rate, he's not used to facing threatening, capable automatons. Which brings me to the point DarkChasm made: Pariah has a sour attitude towards the newer members of the Liberal Crime Squad, and he blames them for mistakes made while on-site. I didn't plan for him to turn this way - the RNG and my writing conspired together on the manner - but I certainly like the character it gives him, a character which IS different from good ol' Jesus Kaltenbrunner's. When I recruit replacements for the fallen to restore the Dozen Liberal Legion, I'm sure Pariah will also have a poor attitude towards them.

Especially if they screw up on-site and get killed.

I distinctly remember Grimith raiding the CEO residence and getting a verbal lashing from a CEO and losing Juice, so he might have merc expeirence. Pariah is definately not used to fighting off skilled consevatives. And he definately has a poor attitude to the new recruits. Maybe if they keep on screwing up and getting killed, he might get so frustrated with them he stops looking for new recruits.

Here's a question I have for you.

When you were grinding Grimith, you had some way of viewing his skills while out on a raid.  I was poking around after getting it and trying to figure out how to do that so I'd know when I had grinded my dodge against some teenagers I got into a fight with.

(still no resolution on the mac end, due to being an idjit and buying mine before PowerPC went bellyup and they switched to Intel. Commandeered the g/f's windows 7 rig)

Press the Liberal's Liberal Number. Then press it again liberaly. Done. But don't dare to press it again, for this is the mark of a Conservative.

Ah, thank you very much.

I'm dying horribly within the month each time, but I think I'm learning.

You make it sound like EVERY Bay 12 game contains gratuitous amounts of death, Diablous. I can't imagine why...

Yeah, that's crazy. After all, DF... er, never mind. But WW1 Medi-Uh, disregard that. I mean, technicly you can win LCS without any violence or death. Sort of.

I'm talkin about difficulty. It took forever for me to figure out how to do things in LCS.

Well, yeah, there is the patented Toady Learning Curve all over Bay 12 Games. It's easy to forget about th-- oh, who am I kidding, it's a prime feature of these games. Losing's not always fun, y'know! Arrrgh.

...But I digress. I've been fairly lax at recording more LGWI - LCS videos, courtesy of doing other things on my YouTube channel. My next video series likely won't feature any guest commentary, though. I'm a bit eager to wrap the game up, so I'm liable to be shooting through the timeline (unless something else catches my fancy).

Actually I've managed to do non-violent revolution in prctice (sorry I couldn't resist). It's not even that hard, guitar squads are the most popular way but it's also possible to win just by having one liberal spray graffiti (unbelievable but true) or having your founder recruit writers for the Liberal guardian until his recruitment cap (in nightmare mode this is a bit harder, thanks to the fire squads).
