If you try to shoot us, you will lose much wisdom! The tribe will enter a dark age, the like of which you cannot possibly imagine!

Also, you'll have to deal with nonsense about gods.

RNG, can children spend a turn performing rituals? Is the deer corpse still on the ground?

Is everyone all right with my plan?

Not without guidance. They don't really know what to do by themselves.

The everyone hunts and gathers thing? Doesn't seem like it, since some people want to make bags or tan leather.

Bah, humbug. Imminent threat of starvation, people, no time for shrines or leather bags.

Hmm... Living, I guess, takes priority.
We need a more efficient method of food gathering. Maybe we should have the plant gatherers get mushrooms if they find some while gathering plants?
I like the making bags out of tanned leather idea. Bags should increase the food that gatherers can gather.

Right, how's this?

6 gatherers gather both turns
3 gatherers make leather bags out of hides, then gather if they have time left
1 gatherer harvests the hide from the deer's corpse, then gathers if schle has time left
All hunters hunt both turns
All elders and children perform prayer to Sudile for a good berry harvest

Turn 3:

Several of the elders and children pray to Sudile for a good harvest. They bless the hunters and gatherers as they pass.
A large group of gatherers looks for berries. They find a large quantity of berries by the river.
A small group of gatherers work on turning the leather into bags.
A single gather skins the deer.
All the hunters look for animals. They catch some small rabbits, but most of the larger game seems to have been scared off.

If I may, I have a proposal for the elders.

Elders and Children carve many idols of the gods.
The Hunters move one up, and then hunt.
8 gatherers gather both turns.
2 gatherers make leather bags out of hides, then gather if they have time left.

No, I was asking RNG why my attempt to research a tent wasn't even mentioned. It seems to me that Elders would have a better chance at researching something.
