Go ahead, take away my man card.  I won't stop you.
I believe she got one from being able to beat people down with wooden swords and having some real fury in her mannerisms. I'm hesitant to make more calls as you have used that fury for gender equality, and saying how the various cool things you have done are inherently male could trigger some response that could jeopardize my own mancard.

Screw all that nonsense. The best way to warm up is to just not get cold.

And tea.

Wait what?

13c isn't cold. It's mild. Now, 2c is cold.

2c is freeze-the-balls-off-a-brass-monkey cold.

How is that possible, it's not even below freezing.

It was 12c for a few days last week in Halifax. Awesome temp, warm enough that all you have to wear is a jacket but still wintery. 'Course it's dropped down to 1-3 now.

I consider any weather where you need to wear more than a long-sleeve shirt to be too damn cold.

For reference, it's a bit above 50F indoors right now. Also, please ignore my overflowing laundry bin. It needs to be washed.

Yes, that's one dirty bin.

Right now it's about -3C or 26F outside, which is doable in a shirt and a sweater, but when the wind starts, the "wind chill" effect quickly drops it to about -15C or 5F. And that's too cold. Still better than 45C. That just makes my brain stop functioning. I'm a discworld troll, I guess.

Oh my god, guys.  You're complaining about my lack of cold resistance when you have a natural fur layer that enormtacular?

Come back when you're hairless and 115lbs, sweethearts :I

As for hot temperatures, I'm not exactly fond of them but they're an excuse to sit around naked and drink lemonade.  Not bad.

In more seriousness, I know I'm a total wuss about my living environment.  I've rolled around in snow in normal clothing before and felt fine when, just walking around, sweat was rolling down my face like water.  Inside the house, though... no.  I find it really hard to get out of bed when it's all cozy under the blankets and Outside is markedly less so, especially when I know whatever hot drink I make myself is going to get insta-cold and just make me chillier.

I suppose I should also mention that my ideal work environment is hands at 50-55 (just cold enough that they don't get stiff) and core body at 70-ish.
