Here are the three posts in which I give reasoning for voting ExKirby. Please also note the fact that I am still the first vote on ExKirby.

So, ExKirby, you slipped. I have no idea how you managed that slip, nor how you expected anybody to believe it. Did you think that you could... discredit me? I have no idea. It doesn't make any sense, which is why it's so damn scummy. I can't imagine any way it furthers the town - or the scum, when it gets right down to it.

Why are we lynching Neruz for being bored when we should be lynching ExKirby for being Scum?!
I already dismissed those points with valid reasoning; Page 10, post 3.
Neruz-I reckon he's pro-town lurking, if there is such a thing.

What.
I think he's taking a back seat because there seems to be the chance of escilating into something that just goes out of control.

...I'm rubbish at explaining my points, aren't I?

Sorry about my lack of content today, Rl, and then the interwebs on my PC going haywire. If it doesn't fix overnight, I'll have to keep posting from my DSi, which isn't really suited for masive walls of text-but I am forced to read more.

I ate the hat store, but my sister who was taking the photo managed to have her thumb over the lens, the idiot.

SirBayer, your attacks on me are thinner than paper. Avoiding bandwagons was when I was 55% sure we had scum. When I landed my vote, it was because I was 100% convinced. And when did I dismiss Dak's quetion? I answered it truthfully, unlike you, because that was a load of burnt waffle.

Oh, this? Uh, wow. No, those aren't reasonable defenses, ExKirby. Avoiding Bandwagons, especially when specifically stating this is what you are doing, is probably grounds for a lynching on its own. Bandwagoning when you were 100% is a convenient excuse. And you dismissed Dak's question as unimportant, when it was a perfectly good question and a rather delicious scumtell on you.

Fakedit: It's possible, but not in this game that I know of. I do have that bad habit of not wanting to do the work.

Lies. Is this some kind of a co-ordinated scum attack?

...Maybe you were reffering to a different question. I saw that question "Did you just say you wanted to be scum" of which I replied "Yes, yes I did."

Unvote.  I don't want anyone to hammer until I've managed to go back and do a good read-through on this thread.

I've been lurking because everyone has suddenly exploded into a mist of scumtells, which confused my radar to the point of immobility.  As such, I'll be back later in the night to do a scan and try to figure out what's happening.

I also strongly suggest that we don't let the game end until Pandarsenic gets back, since I don't trust him any farther than I can throw him.

Goddamnit! I totally had selfhammer opportunity there.

Curse you Vector, you've ruined my fun again. :C

Also i'm going to Unvote and Stare Disconcertingly at SirBayer and ExKirby, because judging by their interactions, at least one of them is scum.

Now to determine which one.

Their argument at the moment is pretty much a textbook example of the 'escalating shouting match' defense that Scum who get found out often attempt.

The really interesting thing however, now that i pay attention instead of faffing about, is neither one has attempted to bail out of the argument and hit me for the quickhammer, despite the fact that they both had the opportunity right then and there. Either one could have easily justified hammering me and gotten away scott-free, yet neither did.

That's why i'm only FoSing at the moment, while their argument looks rather scummy, this concerns me greatly, and i have a horrible gut feeling that the reason i did not get quickhammered is because all the scum were already on me.

dorf springs to mind the most ovbiously, as he apparantly came out of nowhere, buried a vote for me in amongst a bunch of highly simplistic and mostly useless 'reasoning', but two particular sections of his post really stand out for me;

Quote
Neruz can't be town, can he?

This, this here worries me greatly. This is the old rhetorical question, a way of making a statement without actually making a statement, he then further follows with;

Quote
I'm sorry, Neruz, but there is no way you are town.

This is so textbook it's painful, the rhetorical question followed by the statement, and note that it's not 'i think Neruz is scum' but rather 'Neruz cannot be town', an absolute. This is literally the first chapter on 'how to persaude people', the rhetorical question gets them thinking along the right lines, then while they're still thinking "Can he be town?" you hit them with an absolute "No he cannot be town."

Ironically, this is also why the 'innocent until proven guilty' rule applies in the courts. Once you start using arguments like this that start from the other side, assuming the person is guilty\scum and then eliminating all other possibilities, you're influencing people to follow you, and influencing people to follow you is very, very scummy.

dorf also gets another +1 scumpoint for landing the fourth vote on me.

Before i vote for him though, i'd like to see his response to this post.

I'd like to point out that I'm not just screaming at him. There are legitimate scumtells there. Speaking of which...

And that is the question to which I refer, ExKirby. Just throwing it off as if it isn't a big deal.

Upon reconsideration, it may not have been a big deal BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN I'M GIVING UP ON IT

LINKS if you aren't going to quote it, damn it. Some of us have our pages set to the maximum posts per page so that there's minimal page-switching. It would appear that we are only up to Page 5 (4 in the quoted post) right now, so you obviously aren't talking about a post you've made previously. You better get to making those pages fill up or get to explaining, because certain people cannot do math.

Upon reconsideration, it may not have been a big deal BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN I'M GIVING UP ON IT
...What?

dorf springs to mind the most ovbiously, as he apparantly came out of nowhere
...Where were you expecting him to come from? He's a replacement. He had no choice but to come from nowhere.

In a similar vein...where is Pandar? Does he need a forced replace or something? Because he sure as hell needs a prod, at least.

Responding to other stuff and clarifying things tomorrow if I'm able to. I didn't have a lot of time to devote tonight and am trying to go to sleep earlier so I have energy to do even more tomorrow night. This is a busy week for me. Right now it's looking like my schedule should ease up by the weekend, though.

I don't shout. I knock stuff down. The bigger it is, however, the harder it falls, and the louder the noise it makes when it hits the ground.

I'd like to point out that I'm not just screaming at him. There are legitimate scumtells there.
Really? Sounded a lot like screaming.

Because it wasn't. It was a random vote with a random question.

You've played the game long enough to know that:
This ain't the USA: we play by Guilty until Proven Innocent here.
so, I'm not sure what kind of stunt you're trying to pull here.

You have proved nothing about your innocence, so far. My vote stays.
