Quick questions that could go in the stonesense thread but I will bump this one:

Do you play through stone sense?  Or do you just upload your fort there to see how it looks?

And would mods (like Dig Deeper) work with it?

There's no interface to control the game through Stonesense, it's just a viewer.  It does however directly read Dwarf Fortress's memory space and updates the view fairly frequently, so you have a live view of what's going on.

Yes, but all the new creatures show up as question marks.

Just to elaborate, it is exceptionally easy to add new graphics to Stonesense. If somebody created some graphics for the new creatures they could be added without much difficulty. The main Stonesense thread should have directions to add new stuff, over in the DF Modding subforum.

We need screenshots with more crowded, varied, and natural looking arrangements. The ones posted so far often look very industrial-scaled (dozens of identical bedrooms, massive unnatural castles, etc) instead of like a small, crowded dwarven settlement might look. I think the workshops look great and it'd be fun to see lots of them close together in a varied environment.

This would be aided by the addition of colored buildings.

Also, you want more shots like this?

^ yes please, and what an insane amount of statues!
in the future, do consider using another host for your png's, it seems photobucket makes blurry jpg's of them.

Yeah, I suppose Imageshack actually hosts things for more than like 3 days now.  I'll keep it in mind.

Also, that statue formation is from the Rivercross game a long time back.  It should be in  3 different colors, but whatever, it still looks pretty cool.

Sweet pics.  It looks like your windows got messed up on image 3, though.

Thanks...  Those windows aren't really meant to be functional, for what it's worth.  They're the eye of skulls and are surrounded by walls on three out of four sides.

Photobucket never does this to my pngs.

The ones I posted earlier were blurry, but that was because I resized them. This one was cropped instead.

That's more bear than labyrinth :o

Nice work.

Bump for Great Justice because I'm enjoying all the screenshots here. I would join in the fun myself, but I use a mac.  :(

Generally, when you bump a thread, you should include some content related to the thread, like this sort of content:

Might as well repost these from the official thread in the Modding forum. All taken before ramps and height fog got added in and before I grabbed Seuss' trees pack, unfortunately. From Undergrotto, my WIP megaproject fort.
