Seeing 100killer9's destruction of much of the world, Beanchubbs is overcome with rage and jealousy. HE wanted to destroy the world. HE was going to decide when it was time to end it. He was just about to cleave the world in two with his great axe, but stopped. He liked watching his dwarves live and thrive. It added interest to this nothingness. It gave him something to do with his infinite time. They were what kept him from breaking from the boredom and going insane and berserk. So he lowered his axe, and decided he would assist the dwarves as the cataclysm came to the end. He descended to the great holes in the Earth. He spit into his hand and closed it for a little while. When he opened it, great amounts of soil spilled from the cracks between his fingers. He went about the business of going to each hole and closing them up. However, he finds Jakore's hole, and decides to leave it open, as his champion has yet to finish her challenge. Detested but pleased with his deed that assisted the planet as a whole, he rises to the heavens to watch his creations once again.
Beanchubbs plugs all of the holes (excluding Jakore's) that were formed by the dragons.

Geb snarls at the destruction happening around him, but ignores it as there is a philosophical problem to solve, and violence to solve it with. A vision of prophecy has called for a cat and a dwarf, so there will be a cat and a dwarf.

Geb selects a dwarf at random from the spire and removes all influence from their mind, letting them see clearly what has been done to them. A voice speaks in that dwarf's ear:

"The cats control you, your god has lied to you. Capture your cat, keep it alive, and escape while you have the chance. There may never be greater confusion to cover your getaway. Run. Fight if necessary. Go now."

Geb gives a dwarf a chance of escape.

And Beanchubbs acts, and now to the east of the dwarven mountains lie a fertile island. Plants begin to sprout, and animals begin to immigrate. The intelligent races yet avoid the place, knowing that a dragon sleeps underneath, but trade once again begins to run along the coast. On the ocean floor near the crystal tower, the corpse of Orlaf is mostly buried, only top parts of the armored form sticking out of the ocean floor.

The dwarves were not really touched by the cataclysm. A few tunnels collapsed, killing those within, but they were guilty of shoddy craftsmanship anyway. The stop in trade was only temporary. The greatest change is the magma filled gorge to the south. The conflict with the elves has stopped, and suddenly the army has nothing to do. Dwarven society slowly grinds to a thoughtful halt. The conflict with the elves had pretty much defined the dark dwarven society until this point. What now?

The seafaring elves fared slightly worse. The waves from the crashing dragons washed over their coastal villages. Few actually died, as most were ensconced in their solid tree dwellings with elemental mages to bend the waves, but quite a few docked boats got smashed. The elves began growing new ones, and their trade fleet slowly increased back to full strength.

Iwo was on the open sea when the dragons came down. The waters rocked his boat, but he was little touched by it otherwise. Finally he came to the place where he knew the beast he was seeking lived. Slitting his thumb, to get the blood running, Iwo leaps off the boat, and starts to sink.

At the same time, Lazleth has reached the Abyss of Desolation where the god Greenleaf gouged the ocean floor to create the moon. The ocean floor tapers off, and falls into a deep chasm. The walls of the chasm are white marble, seeming to glow as they reflect light coming down from the surface. Lazleth prepares to dive in, when he sees an elf descending from the surface.

Lazleth and Iwo meets, and determines that they are after the same creature, a whale that has grown to enormous size, having lived all through the first age of the gods, and now into the second. Together they dive into the Abyss, and soon come upon its sleeping form. Lazleth takes a swick from his canteen and Iwo squeezes some blood from his finger, and together they begin to influence the water around them, Iwo making the large strokes, and Lazleth taking care of the details. The pair becomes as if though invisible. No waves are created from their passing, the light bends around them. Together they swim through the whale's mouth and down its gullet. The trip is nervewracking, and as they enter the stomach, they quickly split up to find their artifacts.

Lazleth finds the armor, and discovers its properties, as does Iwo with the staff. They try to exit again as silently as they came in, but Iwo has lost some blood by this point, and makes a mistake. When they are still in the whale's mouth, it awakens with a jolt. Sucking in water, Iwo and Lazleth are caught in the whirlstrom. Lazleth uses his armor, and suddenly the water and matter does not touch him, allowing him to swim out through the whale's head. Iwo seizes the power of the staff, and a jagged pain slashes up his arm, as he uses his blood magic to turn the entire water flow, spewing him out of the whale's mouth. The whale is confused at this point, but also quite angry, and prepares to assault the little gnat that has just floated from its mouth. Seizing the blood magic again, Iwo moves the water, and the whale with it, slamming whale into the Abyss wall, knocking it senseless. And then he faints from bloodloss. Lazleth appears again, and drags his compatriot to the surface, getting him up in the boat still rocking on the ocean waves.

Urist sees the dragons pass overhead, but does not know whether they are all the dragons there are. Still, they enormous size fills her with apprehension. Which she quickly shakes off. She may die at the claws of one of these beasts, but then it will be the will of Beanchubbs. Nothing she can do about it. Continuing westward, she arrives at the redwoods and find them to be empty. Or at least they seem empty. She could swear that the trees seemed to be moving more than usually when she wasn't looking, but that must have been her imagination, for none of them actually tried to eat her. Still, the walk was for nothing. Urist turns around and begins heading back east.

The crystal spire is still rocking from the dragon's death, when a dwarf suddenly jolts. He goes berserk, roaring and smashing all around him. Dwarves and cats recoil from him, and the maddened dwarf runs through the corridors, until he makes a wrong turn and plummets from an unfinished corridor to the ocean far below. The cat is left behind, confused about how its hold on the dwarf was suddenly lost.

It should be noted that Urist has no chance of taking Jakore on alone. The dragon is larger than a mountain, clad in armor that can resist magma, and, oh ya, swimming around in magma, most of the time beneath the surface of it.
But what happened to the guardian naga? Did they all move away?
They still live in the bottom of the tower, near the surface. Their part of the spire was unaffected by the dragon's tail, though they did feel the tremors, and are aware of the damage.

And 100killer9, seeing the instability of his crystal spire, decided to do something he was planning on doing anyway. He created a "core" of sorts for the spire, an area of dense, unbreakable crystal that could manipulate gravity. It could be controlled by the cats, but acted on its own if the crystal started to tip too much and no cat was correcting it. It would keep the crystal spire directly upright. However, to prevent the crystal from spinning wildly if it got seperated from the planet somehow, sensing a gravity that was much less than the gravity of the planet would cause it to emit an amount of gravity comparable to the moon from the center, keeping the cats and dwarves on.
100killer9 creates a gravity core for the crystal spire.

After repairing parts of the Earth, Beanchubbs turns back to his champion and her task. He knew she would need some help to defeat Jakore. He reaches out to her from his perch in the heavens as she sleeps. As his fingers wrap around her small form, his holy touch blesses her. Her senses and reflexes are hightened to a level beyond any mortal being on this planet. Her already strong bands of muscles are reinforced with Beanchubbs's divinity. Her mind is wisened to many many years beyond her own age, her wits are sharper than the masterfully crafted axes of the holy order, and she is more intelligent than the greatest dwarven philosopher, Sodelcrates. He sets her back down to the ground and lets her rest.
Beanchubbs blesses Urist

With Jakore being in a near impossible place for Urist to reach, Beanchubbs decides to change the situation. He goes to Jakores magma gorge, and touches his throat. He removes Jakore's need to to breath magma, and allows him to breathe air once more. He may still breathe magma if he wishes to, but it pains him to do so. After he is finished with this task, Beanchubbs ascends to the heavens and watches Urist closely.
Edit: Oops, forgot to make an act here, sorry
Beanchubbs makes Jakore not have to breathe magma

Honestly, I think that everyone else is just trying to be cautious, and I'm not. If I screw up, I suffer the wrath of armok. If it's that bad of a wrath that all my plans go to hell, I just spend time ruining the plans of the other gods. It's completely in-character for a god of jealousy.

Greenleaf ponders the situation of the divine quest and the chaos that the dragon sundering created. Aware of the drain blood magic has on his elves, he plans to fix the issue. Phasing into a level of awareness that is completely seperate, but still connected to the world of the living, he seeks out the primal core that he made the elves from.

A small spark of demon blood lives in each elf. Greenleaf blows on that tiny spark, increasing it into a small burning flame. Linking some of his hair to the flame as both a fuel source and a direct connection to the plane of magicks.

Back in the mortal realms, he teaches the elves in their dreams how to chant and use materials grown from the earth to create magic without bleeding.

Greenleaf empowers his elves to call upon their demon blood to cast magic without bleeding out.

The great monkey turns his sight to the chosen ones of the gods. Pondering how to help, both the two resting after their battle, and the one facing an extreme enemy. Inspiration comes as the marble moon fades over the horrizon.

In the dark of the night Greenleaf looks down upon the two resting in the tiny boat in the sea and uses his power to keep the two asleep. Wrapping his hand around the boat he lifts and deposits the boat in the nearest water source to where the blessed dwarf lays. Releasing his power the two are once again in normal slumber, to wake near the dwarf and hopefully meet.

Greenleaf teleports Iwo and Lazleth to the area where Urist sleeps.

With only two dragons remaining in the world and Jakore marked for death by holy word, Markav the Jaws of Defeat will soon be the last of dragonkind. Geb ponders this, not saddened to see the race fade away, but pitying the remaining creatures despite their destructiveness. The great beast must sleep, to live and fly again only as the world begins to end. Until then, the vast scaly back will float above the magma as a new island.

Geb sends Markav into hibernation, to return during the apocalypse.

And 100killer9 creates a gravity core for the spire in case it should ever begin to topple. The cats and dwarves continue their work, ever higher. On clear days the tower can be seen from both the Continent of Protection and the Continent of Despair.

And Beanchubbs blesses Urist. Shortly after this blessing, Urist encounter an elf and naga floating in a boat in a landlocked lake. The elf claims that they are part of an adventuring band of which Urist will also be a part, as revealed by the god Greenleaf. Urist scoffs, having little use for the monkey god, and having killed scores of his worshippers. The doom and gloom of world distaster does not bother her. The dwarves have lived through all that the world has thrown at them, with the aid of their god. However, Iwo is persistent. In the end, Urist agrees that they will venture to the temple of Beanchubbs in Estonsulus, to hear the dwarven deity's thoughts on the subject. However, first she has a mission. She is out to kill a dragon. And she will broke no interference from outsiders. The two can tag along, but when Urist confronts Jakore, she will do so alone. And so Iwo and Lazleth tags along. It is not a nice trip for Lazleth. While naga can move around on land, they are made for water, and his lower belly is soon raw from sliding across rocks, branches and grit. But he does not complain. Luckily the pace is set by sort-legged Urist, so Lazleth does not slow the group down.

In the meantime Beanchubbs has made Jakore capable of breathing air. The dragon rears it head, and takes a deep breath. With a beat of its wings it drags itself out of the gorge, coincidentally flinging magma across the landscape, lighting forest fires in the forests south of the dwarven mountains. Urist, Iwo and Lazleth are close enough to see the dragon, as it takes to the sky again. Urist roars in anger, as her prey once again takes off, flying east.

And Geb sends Markav into a hibernation. And the dragon comes to sleep beneath the island east of the dwarven mountains, that the elven traders have come to call Vutheni Nelara, or Dragon's Tomb.

On an island known as Eden, far from the view of any other race, the humans have continued their evolution. Flint weaponry and tools are used to kill trees, and use their wood to build barricades outside their cave enclaves. Small amounts of trade are going on, as one human tribe trades furs and tools that another tribe does not have access to.

The magma lake that Markav was sleeping in, was buried by Beanchubbs, so there are no open magma pit in that area anymore, just a island that is quickly gaining animal and plantlife.

100killer9 sees Jakore out to attack the crystal, and is displeased. So, he decides to help urist by erasing the dragon's mind. Specifically, only the part that controls movement, freezing the dragon in place for all of eternity. Urist could stab the thing to death, for all he cared. Let her pretend she was someone important. As long as the crystal was safe for just a BIT longer...

Not seeing it fair for Urist to fight a frozen monster, Beanchubbs reaches out to Jakore once again. He decides not to restore Jakore's mind, but to change it. As his hands grasp the creatures head, the mind of it changes. It is no longer intent on wanton destruction. Instead, Jakore now has a desire to live in a deep cave full of beautiful treasures that he will gaurd and protect as if they were his own off-spring. After fixing and repairing Jakore's mind, Beanchubbs watches from his heavenly view point of the world to see what happens next.
Beanchubbs fixes and changes Jakore's mind.
