Greenleaf ponders this absorbing monstrosity. After a time he decides that a group of heroes are needed.  Seeking out the best of the seafaring elves, one who is talented at using elemental magic, the primate god first sends a vision of the battles between the southern elves, and the thing. After that the vision switches to what would happen if the thing isn't stopped, a world destroyed and absorbed into one huge mindless mass of hunger. And finally he gives a vision of a group of adventurers joining powers to attack and beat the thing. One this elven mage, another a naga warrior, along with a dwarven crossbowdwarf, and even a single cat and surface dwarf pair. Each are wielding divine weapons, and seem to be glowing with their god's approval.

Greenleaf sends a vision of prophecy to the strongest seafaring elf mage

Greenleaf then sets up a holy staff of elemental usage in the belly of the biggest and strongest sea creature. Giving this information to his chosen mage, he tells the elf that if they accept the quest for this staff they must retrieve it from the strongest beast of the oceans.

Greenleaf commands his chosen to quest for a divine staff of the god's making

Beanchubbs once again looks at the great beast he had a hand in creating, and figures it is getting too strong to stop easily now. Working along with Greenleaf's plan of a group of adventurers, he finds the greatest Champion of all the mountain homes. He tells him that he has been chosen to help protect the world from destruction from a great foe (leaving out the part that Beanchubbs created it). The Champion must travel to the Plain of Ashes, find the green dragon named Jakore the Bringer of Flames and defeat him.
Beanchubbs tells the greatest dwarven Champion to find and kill a dragon.

When the champion asks why, Beanchubbs replies that the dragon gaurds an axe forged by Beanchubbs's bare hands that is so strong it can even cut through Beanite.

Beanchubbs then finds the dragon and gives him this axe, telling him to gaurd it with his life and kill anything that tries to take it.
Beanchubbs leaves the dragon in the protection of a divine axe.

Feeling the use of divine power, the great lizard extends his senses idly to find out what has been wrought. As he sees the plan of the macaque god, Geb is surprised and greatly pleased. The role of the naga in the world shall never be of violence, but a naga hero could still provide valuable support to such a noble endeavour.

Seeking an experienced veteran guard from the great trade convoys, Geb summons his messenger once more, the angel in the form of a manta appearing before the surprised guard. It speaks:

"The races of the continent of despair are endangered by a monstrous creature. No mortal alone can stand before it, however, the gods have decreed that all races must send a champion to bear the divine powers in unison. Long ago, when the dark dwarves left our holy cavern, some of their number were lost to whales. Their armour was lost, and one set still lies in the gut of one great whale. The upper parts of the set will fit you. Retrieve the armour, wear it, and you will be named champion of the naga. Seek the beast in the Abyss of Desolation."

Geb selects a potential champion.

Mere metal alone would not serve, even armour of a godly alloy, so Geb seeks the armour himself and reshapes it to fit, granting it new power of his own design. Any worthy being who wears it will become able to turn incorporeal at will, able to fly through matter and solidify again safely.

Geb rebuilds the armour so that the wearer can move through solid matter.

100killer9 decides that he would like to release the dwarves from their mind control, knowing that they are his faithful subjects. But he knew he couldn't. The dwarves minds would break. So, he does the next best thing. The dwarves were twisted through power to like mind control. The dwarves learned the superiority of cats, and would do what the cats wanted them to. If the cats didn't want them to do anything specifically, they could do whatever did not go against the cats' wishes. So, basically like the dwarves are glad with the current situation. His mind control accidentally hit one dark dwarf, who was confused and shrugged it off as nothing important.
100killer9 makes the dwarves happy with the current situation.

Hillburra feels like exerting his authority and so appears before the dragons, He sends them on a mission of wanton destruction, because such things are enjoyable. The mission given to the dragons is to eat the entire crystal spire that houses the cats and surface dwarves, the dragons are convinced to do this because Hillburra tells them that the spire houses a God - and no creature has ever attempted to eat a God before. In order to help them complete this mission Hillburra hardens their teeth and reinforces their scales so that they can bite anything with ease and not worry about the attacks of smaller animals, no matter how well equipped they are. He also vastly increases their size and wingspan so that they are no large enough to eat even the elephants whole.

Hillburra buffs up the dragons with stuff like size, armour and teeth.
Hillburra gives the dragons a mission to eat the crystal spire, and they will not rest until it is done.

And Greenleaf sends a vision to Iwo. Iwo is a former captain, and gained enough wealth during the early trade between naga and dwarves, that he gifted his boat to his brother, and retired to study magic full time. Sitting in his tree dwelling, on a cliff overlooking the ocean, he receives the vision, and immediately makes his way down to the village. Borrowing a one-elf boat, he sets out towards the east, towards the deep ocean.

And Beanchubbs finds Urist, a veteran of the dwarf-elf war. Urist is a champion of no small acclaim, and currently commands a unit of new warriors. Urist is harsh, but fair, and this is also part of the legend surrounding her. This, and her willingness and skill at killing any foe that might threaten the mountain homes. At Beanchubbs's call, Urist relinquishes command of her unit, picks up her gear, and heads west towards the Plains of Ash.

And Geb sends an angel to Lazleth of the naga. Since the elves acquired magic of their own, the use of naga guards have decreased, though every boat tend to carry one, out of tradition if nothing else. That the naga make good middle men when negotiating with the dwarves might also be a factor. Lazleth is a veteran of the trade. He speaks naga, dwarven and the coastal elven dialect, and knows the prope etiquette, and with a good drink in his body, he can push a whale from the course of the boat. At the angels behest, he packs the few things he will take with him, and dives into the water, swimming east.

And 100killer9 warps the minds of his dwarves again, and their distress dies down. Things mostly return to normal, though the naga has not yet shown themselves at the tower again.

The dragons had long since grown to a size where they could eat elephants. Even ents and whales would be able to find their way into the stomach, if not because the dragons were content with crunching their summoned meals.

Now they are further enhanced, enlarged, enarmored. With great flaps of their wings, they take to the air, heading towards the crystal spire. Jakore the Bringer of Flames grasps the artifact axe and takes it with him. The dragons head east towards the spire, a deep shadow falls over the dwarven mountains and northern forests as the dragons pass overhead, flaps of their wings flattening trees and sending animals stampeeding in all directions.

The confederacy of the Red Maw looks to the skies, and a call goes out for their leader of the confederacy tribes to gather. The dragons have returned.

100killer9 laughs at the feeble attempt at Hillaburra. It would be simple to defend the crystal. Just make the dragons need to breathe something not at the crystal. Magma would also set them on fire, not being immune themselves. And so, the dragons were changed to need to breathe magma, or they would die within one minute.
100killer9 forces dragons to need to breathe magma.

And thus the event that would become known as the great cataclysm.

Suddenly the enormous beasts required magma to breath. Greater than any volcano, there was only one way the dragons could get to the floating rock below ground. Heaving and wheezing, the dragons dove to the ground, hardened teeth and claw tearing through rock, until magma wells from the earth, filling the hole. Though the dragons are not fireproof, their armored hide is so tough and thick, that the magma does nothing to harm the giant beasts. This is roughly what happened, but each of the dragons landed in a different spot.

Jakore the Bringer of Flames is flying just south of the dwarven mountains, and dive to the ground. Rocks and trees fly as he tears at the earth. When he is finished, a huge magma filled gorge largely separates the mountains from the southern forests. Maybe half of the northern elves have been killed in the cataclysm, and the survivors flee south.

Markav the Jaws of Defeat lands off the coasts, water splashing, causing tidal waves that wash against many of the coastal villages. Steam erupts as the sea floor is ripped and magma streams to the surface, but Markav keeps ripping, and in the end, a huge magma basin, surrounded by sea and inhabited by a dragon, lies just east of the dwarven mountains. For a while, contact between dwarves and seafaring elves is cut.

Orlaf the Abyssal Terrors was almost at the spire. Splashing into the water, a tidal wave washes into the tower, killing all dwarves and cats in the bottom part, and washing away their corpses. Luckily most inhabitants are near the top, striving for ever greater height for the glory of 100killer9. Orlaf trashes and digs, but as fast as he digs, as fast the ocean fills up the hole, drying the magma. Columns of steam can be seen even from the mainland, spreading as clouds in the upper atmosphere. The dragon, strength fading, trashes again, and this time its huge tail glances the crystal spire. The whole structure shakes as a piece is knocked off the spire below sealevel, half the wide of the spire itself. The spire creaks and trembles, threatening to topple into the sea, but then remains standing. The cats, unaware of the true extent of the damage, decide to remain near the top where no harm can reach them, and continue to build upwards.

Finally the dragon's strength fails it, and with a rumble, the huge beast dies, falling upon the ocean floor.

The fact that the gorge seperates the entire mountain chain from the nearby forest, is an indication of the current size of the dragons.

"Yo, Heroes! We need you to slay a great evil! Want some shiny stuff?"

*world explodes*

Sigh....

If the champions have got any initiative, they'd be trying to take out the gods at this point. It's their best chance for a long and happy life.

Ha! I manage to kill a dragon, destroy much of the inhabited world AND keep my crystal spire safe all in one act. Killing three birds with one stone, I guess.
But what happened to the guardian naga? Did they all move away?

AND keep my crystal spire safe

Depends on your definition of safe. That dragon took a big chunk out of the bottom of it.

So? I can fix that, just like I spent the last four acts either destroying the world or fixing every little thing that goes wrong.
