This game sounds really fun but I can't seem to figure out how to play...

Can someone PM me - I want a mentor over teamviewer or something.

I'm doing this monkey see monkey do tutorial on free time:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/13152hgyUxjrjqLmAJpxXiiB3Oy7D-RiO4LsjpxQticw/edit?hl=en_US&pli=1

it's two thousand and half word long and it cover just the first turn, without even touching ship design nor colonization.

First class. There are some minor spelling and grammar issues, but it's not enough to detract from the tutorial. Keep on it!

Still looking for this. I've searched through pretty much every window in SM mode, to no avail. Now watch it be blindingly obvious.

I haven't tried the exploit yet, but I do know how to tug a ship: Ship window, select the tug, miscellaneous, top-right: "Tractor Link".

The problem is that civilian ships don't show up in any of the relevant screens; you can't target them for towing, you can't order ships to follow them, etc. They're effectively invisible as far as player-controlled ships are concerned.

Can PDC's be scrapped?
I would love to recycle those ICBM's for what little they're worth, even better would be if i could shove em onto drones and make slightly less than useless 'upgrades' merely as fluff, but for some reason the refit cost of my old conventuional bases is 50% more than the cost of building entirely new ones with vastly superior tech.

They're nearly as bad as badgers. Build a couple of anti-buzzard SAM sites marksdwarf towers and your fortress will look like Baghdad in 2003 from all the aerial bolt spam. You waste a lot of ammo and everything is covered in unslightly exploded buzzard bits and broken bolts.

Why scrap them? Can't you just toss them onto freighters and deliver them to minor colonies? It'll keep unrest down, at least.

Where are you trying to tug it? Are you at the same planet as the ship you're trying to link?
I just made a test game, moved my tug to mars and waited for a transport to unload colonists.
As soon as the ship arrived I was able to link it to my tug and made off with it.

I don't think there's another way, I wasn't able to detect them with my sensors either.
