Though, I'm not sure how serious he is about dakarian, since he's asking for his opinion.

And as far as I've seen, he never backed up his accusations, he only said "Dakarian is scum" twice or thrice.
So yeah, what are your grounds, Vector?

You seem to not understand the idea of "ask a question and see if scum falls out."  I'm not getting info on you two.  I'm getting info on him.


Most of my argument is based on the fact that I think Pandarsenic is town.  I get this idea ... well, I can't fully explain from where.  It's mostly that he has a sort of "set behavior" as scum.  He occasionally deviates a little, but there's a certain way he sounds and talks as scum that doesn't follow as town.  He's being far better-reasoned and active here than he typically is as scum, etc.  He's also taking a more passive route (town-tell for Pandarsenic)

Of course, you can say "but of course he's just copying his towntells, right!?"  Sure, he could be.  Speaking as someone who has played a lot of scum games, it is EXTREMELY hard to make a scum -> town behavioral shift without sounding stilted.  I fix this by dual-booting scum and townie systems simultaneously, but Pandarsenic doesn't seem to from what I've observed of him.  This means that the shift would be more difficult.

I realize that this all sounds like conjecture, but ultimately it's what I believe--and, from my read on him, Pandarsenic is town.  Read as a townie, I agree with his arguments against Dakarian.

In anticipation of accusations of bandwagoning off his arguments, I'll point out that if I were going off my perceptions alone... well, I'd go for a dorf/inteuniso scumteam, which is ridiculous given their interactions and the fact that they're probably both noobtown. 

To explain further, I think something is off about Dakarian by virtue of process of elimination.  Most other people look like town to me.  He seems iffy.  I'm trying to compile information and figure out precisely what is wrong with the way he's talking, but I haven't been able to get much yet other than "I think Pandarsenic is town, and he's good at reading people" and "something is not right."


However--Pandarsenic, if you think dakarian is more likely to be scum than Leafsnail, why aren't you voting for him?

Well, anyway.  He says "Dakarian-Leafsnail scumteam, but heavier on the Leafsnail."  Based on what I've read, I'm going more with Dakarian-Leafsnail, heavier on the Dakarian.

I find it vaguely upsetting that I can't read Leafsnail anymore, but that's how it goes.  Sorry, I need to do a thread re-trawl once I've caught up with some work on a couple other games.

No, my intention is not to say "Hey, I found the scumteam~"  It's more "Hey, that dude is probably town, and as town he is often right.  However, I agree with him on this bit and don't know so much about that other bit over there."

I am so painfully hurtfully busy right now that I am sorry, but right now I'm not answering that mostly because GOOD LORD BUSINESS.

Unvote. Yeah, my suspicions are sliding away from Leafsnail - it may be buddying that he called for an extension despite voting me but two things are bothering me:

Dorf jumps on Vector for his vote on Dak. Overprotective scumbuddy (how Akigagak was caught in Christmas Mafia) or newbtown (Like in NearlyMountainous)? I'm leaning towards the latter; he isn't like he was in NM, though. Still on the fence but I doubt it means anything.

Vector, however, looks like he might have seen a townfight and decided to set up the other townie for a lynch by making a big deal of my wintution. Also, enormous buddying to me on grounds of meta. He probably expects that I'll be lynched, and can lead town to a Dak mislynch tomorrow. (Possible idea but not a major part of the vote: He may be screening Scumbuddy Leafsnail by saying his suspicions of Leaf are through theoretically-townie Dak. This is meaningless, though. The real meat is up above).

Well.. I might as well give my thoughts on other players.
Pandarsenic is not changing tactics and remains passive, defensive and ever so scummy. Actually, 'defensive' might not be the proper word anymore. 'Trying to shake off the accusations against him' might suit better now. Your passiveness will kill you.

dakarian certainly acts useful and is an active scumhunter, so that's good, right? Of course, one might argue that he's overdoing, but I'm not sure. He seems to be talking just the right amount and saying just the right things.

Leafsnail was true to his word and eradicated TM. Btw, does this mean he's either 3rd party or town now? I'm trying to figure out, if RW0 would, essentially, give the Mafia ability to kill at night AND day, simultaneously. But since we can revive, this might not be so black and white, after all.
