Rough Draft of the Opening of: Blessed be the Bomb Shelter - Pending Changes

There are few fates worse than starving to death. There are few fates worse than being slaughtered like an animal for meat and bone. There are few fates worse than being raped until such a time that your captors decided you would make a better meal than toy.

You are one of the few in the world to never have worried about this. When society began collapsing your great grandparents were lucky enough to enter one of the bomb shelters. Protected from the horrific wasteland the nation had become they were blessed with a life of normalcy. Blessed be the Bomb Shelter.

The bomb shelter, as well as others like it all across the world, contains the only surviving sane humans that you know of. The outside world fell quickly. Crime became common place and human meat became a necessity for survival as the fallout prevented any and all crop and beast from growing. The bomb shelter has provided for you your entire life. You never go hungry. You never go thirsty. You only have to follow the rules.

One day, however, the Bomb Shelter addressed everyone in the vault, so the elders say: Hello inhabitants. I have fed you. Clothed you. Protected you from the outside world. Until now you have followed my rules. Now, however, there are those of you who see the rules as folly. You must be punished. Those who break the rules are trash. Trash must be disposed of. Every week you will vote on someone to be disposed. When those who have broken the rules have been disposed of all will return to normal. If you refuse my demands, then all of you will be cleansed. Choose wisely.

It was the first time the Bomb Shelter spoke. But it was not the last. Over the years the population has dwindled due to the weekly purges. Now there are few of you left. Those who broke the rules must still be here. Those who broke the rules must be found. Those who broke the rules must be destroyed.

How about Steal Someone Else's Role? It would go like this:

1)Everyone PMs the mod a role.
*The mod could make the roles now, or wait until before the game starts.
2)Everyone PMs the mod the user that they want to steal a role from.
3)Ties are sorted out somehow, and unused roles are shuffled among players without roles.

Aren't the roles randomized in BSER, though?

This could make for some interesting day-game, since you would know the name of one other role, and might be able to figure out who has it.

The main difference is that you can try to predict pre-game who's role is likely the most powerful. And the results of a tie.
