Oh yes, I'm so spoiled for interesting game modes here I'd happily never play regular mafia again.

I haven't been playing regular mafia for about two or three years. The most vanilla-like mafia I've played these days have at most only 1 townie (locally this variant is known as "TolyK's mafia", almost literally).
Bay12 mafia forum had spoiled me as well.

Pretty much DF and Paranormal Mafia are to thank. They started the whole subforum. I don't know if mine was first, but I definitely ran the first BYO anything. It was a good learning experience.

I think that there's few enough games currently running to put THF:2050 into signups, 4mask.
It was 4mask running that, right?

As far as FHPBYOR, I have decided the quirk will definitely be:
Submit a minimum of two roles. If you submit more than two, two will be picked from those for you, the others randomly/evenly shuffled out.

So if someone submits N roles, where N is the number of players, everyone but them gets 3 roles as a result.
...yeah. If you get more roles, they won't be as strong as your first two, but let's just say there will be a lot of powers flying around.
