We actually have quite a bunch of rabbits down here oddly enough, pretty fun to hunt. Got a suprise headshot on one because it turned last moment... What a mess that was.

Yeah, we have rabbits all round my neighborhood. The only problem is shooting at them will get me arrested.

On the subject of unorthodox animal hunting, which presumably can be rerailed fairly easily, I was once staying with my now deceased Grandfather, and as I was lying in bed in the morning I heard a loud bang. My Grandfather came in from outside, by which point I was up and dressed, and said "Someone just drove up to the bridge, fired at the ducks, missed, swore, and drove off."

We have a rabbit epidemic. Why don't you come down a shoot as many as you can.

I'd love to EJ, but that requires me to get on a plane... I'd sooner shoot myself than ever fly again.

Though all the rabbit I can eat is tempting...

Boat it or tranqs. Seriously, rabbits are out of control over here.

I'll wear a pimp hat so you don't shoot me.

Wait...

So you won't kill me.

On topic, I doubt any of us could last more than a week in the Australian wilderness.

Oh damn.

We literally need to get rid of as many as we can.

Sorry, let me rephrase that.

Last a week lost in the wilderness with no supplies.

Can, have not. Around my area though, not in far north Queensland or The Kimberly.

EDIT: By my area I mean the terrain I'm used to. Bush in regional NSW.

But you'd be silly to get lost anyway.

You mean, get lost in the Australian bush. I think Jackrabbit means the Australian wilderness.

Basically, the country around south queensland is sparse. Very sparse. We don't have rabbits though... We have hares. Owning rabbits mean a very very delicious fine. Hunting them probably gets you a pat on the back.
And in far north Queensland there's a lot more sustainable wildlife. Just more of it is likely to kill you. Like Taipans. And the other thirty types of snakes.

Also, Aren't alligators bigger than crocodiles?
And Jackrabbit... I don't know. How about after you graduate we both flee to canada to live in the wilderness. Possibly establish an underground fortress with five other people. Who knows, we could even establish trade with the nearby towns and cities.

Too much of a technophile to live in the wilderness, besides, over here the biggest danger in the wild is getting too exposed. Following that, the next biggest is probably getting run over by a Hummer, or some other all terrain vehicle driven by reckless Arabs.

Fresh Water crocs, maybe, saltwater?

WAHT ARE YOU CRAZY

The lower weight of an Adult Salt Water Croc is higher than the average of an Alligator.

Maybe it's the South NSW wilderness, but ok.
We'll call it that. Go away for four weeks with no supplies, and come back alive. Then, we'll accept that you could. Until then, stop being a braggart.

On the same note, wouldn't wilderness be the area you aren't used to?

I've gone away for four weeks with only a couple days worth of supplies, does that count?

This argument is ridiculous. Neither side can prove that you can or cannot survive a week in the wilderness in Australia.

You'll note I'm not arguing and yet brought it up. That's because it was supposed to be taken lightly and not as a dick waving competition.

Also; you shouldn't get lost.

When you go into the wilderness, any wilderness,

Hell I take these when I go one day-hikes.

Completely possible to survive a week in Australia. Heard of the Aborigines? Heard of Willis and Burke, throughout Australia history we've survived for months at a time, even in modern day times. The point is, I have been out for four weeks with little supplies, I have and found my own food, I have found water. But I cannot prove it.
