A neighbor we've known for a while might've come out as a clerical fascist.

More Franco than him. The flag I saw wasn't unambiguously fascist but the timing is alarming. I'll need to find out which member of the family put it up.

The coolest thrift store in the town near me is going out of business, so now there's one less thing to do in a town that had very little to do in it, and the only thrift stores left nearby are ether okay or crap.

Also we probably missed getting anything really cool since they started giving away everything in the store two days ago, oh well at least we found a few things, including a LED scrolling marquee thing just need to find a remote for it.

Can you program it with an array of simple words and phrases? You can just keep it posted above where you sit and respond to yes or no questions with the marquee and the like.

Anything I want to say can be said with 16 different colours and all I need to do is figure out what model it is so I can get a new remote for it.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

I wish I could go to the Rainbow Bridge for animals that don't have anyone coming ... I'd just stay there... my personal heaven

American voters. They voted in a serial rapist bigot who didn't think Donald Trump was racist or against Roe V Wade enough, and yelled at anyone who suggested it wasn't a good idea. Now they complain that they got what they wanted (anti-women, anti-LGBTQ+, anti-poor, racist, etc.).

They're either too stupid and lazy to see they're causing problems, or actively bigots. And they get mad at anyone who tries to actually do anything about the problems they cause.
