I noticed something:
This forum has a noticably decreased amount of activity recently.
Me worried.

The past week or so, or further back? Because the last week could just be holiday slowdown. Also, we probably had a little bit of a spike after last update.

Nope. This year compared to last year, we have had inky half the total posts that last year had.

im only 69% complete with the first segment of an online class i started in the summer (while a humorous number, not exactly the best)

i cant focus on things at all and all i can hear is the tv and my mom yelling and i cant retain information i feel so dumb  i cant do anything fast enough and i dont know how ill be useful when im grown up

Online classes are always annoying, in my opinion. Do you think it's the format causing problems? Also, I understand the feeling of feeling concern over one's future, and not feeling good enough. It's not a fun feeling. Just keep thinking of your goals in life and considering what steps you want to take to pursue them. Then (and this is the hard part for me) pursue your goals.

If the issue is not being sure what you want to do, I would think what you can do to make the world as you want it to be.

People are growing up and losing time.  Also, I don't see any big freeform RPs, which would definitely be part of the high postcount things.

I would just say that 2017 has just been the year from hell for basically everyone. Pretty much nobody I have talked to has said it was a good year for them. I suspect "silent desperation" is a probable cause for the reduction in social activity.

2017 certainly had its rough patches, but overall I'd say it's been the best year of my life.
Now, to make it a turning point, and keep things getting better and better from here...
