Okay, look.

Professional psychological help is really dependent upon the people involved.  So yeah, sometimes, it might not help you with one particular psychologist, but if that's happening, they're obligated to refer you to someone else if you ask.  That is like, literally the first thing in the ethical code IIRC, although I haven't read it recently enough to be sure.

And Gamedragon, tell that to your school's counselor if they do start trying to convert you.  Give them a try.  You may be surprised.  They're not supposed to judge, they're supposed to help, and even if they can't, for any reason, they are required to point you to someone who could.
