Got 4 hours of sleep last night. I swear I have some kind of mild insomnia sometimes.

No its A cake made from the flesh of Russian dancers. psychologists.

FTFY.

Also, OW with the madness. Don't put fruit on pavlova, just lots of toffee.

If so, I've never eaten it, and I live in Britain.

It's lovely. It's dinnertime (near enough) so go out and buy one for after :P

Alternatively, eat it for dinner.

As far as I know Pavlovas in general are more of a NZ thing than British, but you do see them in stores.

Well there you have a business opportunity don't you? But for the American palate you need to put different ingredients on it. e.g. make a Fluffernutter Pavlova to establish them in New England.

What made me laugh is that the most generic possible cup of coffee in Aus/NZ, the Flat White is now seen as some sort of gourmet thing in the US. Is the coffee really that bad over there that a slightly-less-terrible cup of coffee is a smash hit?

Now I'm sad we don't have that in the US.
Oddly enough some research suggests that the origins of Pavlova came from Germany, was perfected in the U.S.A, then became popular in Aus/NZ and spread from there, with the name "pavlova". So you might actually have pavlova already, just under the name meringue.

Stayed up until 6 or 7 AM working on an essay cause I screwed myself over with not keeping track of time, and made myself feel even more sick from intaking so much coffee that my subconcious demanded me to go empty my stomach several times.

And in Russia too... at least, our uni coffee-machines sell it at an outrageous price compared to everything else. Porked if I know why.

Meanwhile, that's not even sold in South Africa. Interesting.

Depending where you go though, coffee prices can be very similar to each other. There's a vending machine I like that does a flat rate of R10 (~$0.62) for a cup of anything, and it's actually pretty good if you go right after it's been serviced.

Our rates are invariably in the order of Flat White > Milk Hot Chocolate > Hot Chocolate = Flavored Cappuccino > Unflavored Cappuccino = Latte = Double Espresso > Americano > Regular Espresso > Milk (With sugar. A surprisingly viable choice).
