Wait, how long have you been off your meds? It takes at least three days for me to start getting angry/moping about everything.

Dude, don't quit your meds until after discussing it with your doctor. Dont.

I'm not technically off them. I had two pills left, one of which I split in half, and the other I split in fourths. I took the two halves over the course of two days, now I started quarters last night and just took the next tonight. Two quarters left.

So it's not like I'm straight up not getting any of the medication in my system, it's just less than the typical amount I was taking daily.

The withdrawal symptoms for the antidepressant (citalopram) didn't seem too life threatening anyway. The worst was nausea, vomiting, and dizziness. Also nightmares, which are prominent whenever I forgot to take a dose one night, and the last couple nights I have been having weird dreams and waking up feeling groggier than usual.

I don't teeeeechnically have a doctor to talk to about it either at the moment. The one who prescribed it in the first place I'm no longer a client for since I withdrew from the college which provided her services, and I have yet to find another psychiatrist, which is why I'm running out and have no refills.

I'm fairly certain I won't die this weekend, but if it gets really bad I can make an appointment with a psychiatrist recommended to me by the therapist I was seeing a while back once Monday rolls around.

Can't a GP write you a prescription?

Yeah, a GP should be able to. Most psychologists/therapists will usually prefer not to refer you to a GP because they don't know what's up as well as a specialised psychiatrist, but if you have a prior prescription it doesn't seem unworkable.

Unless America is weird about that, too.

Hope you'll pull through, man. If you start getting weird/suicidal ideas or feel like your brain is doing barrel rolls inside your skull, seek immediate medical attention. And try to keep reminding yourself that it's just withdrawal and you'll get better soon enough (it's all too easy to forget that when you're freaking out).

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

This forum is such that making jokes about death can occasionally be... accidentally extremely poor taste, and a little too close to home. Just for future reference.

Of course, this forum is such that making jokes about death can be black comedy, and that's a-okay, so what do I know? :P

Its not like he ceased to exist you know, you can hunt him down on other media :v

Anyways, on todays sads: I was waiting on some handymen earlier this morning to do some quick work on one of the bathrooms, but the guys just... Kinda didn't show up at the scheduled time. They arrived later, about 3 goddamn hours later, so I told them to fuck off.

Didn't you know? It's like Minecraft. You shoot the minecart at the children and it automatically picks it up.

It is kinda weird that it does that in Minecraft.  Eh.  S'a feature.
Especially when you shove minecarts into minecarts for a minecart Thing that just sort of ignores that it's not on rails anymore.

Arts and crafts PROTIP

If you have a headache, don't work with rubber cement. Don't even look at it, don't even think about it. It will make your life a living hell. I learned this the hard way just now.
