Ah, that's where the people skills come in.
The trick is to make them want to see it, and have them see you not wanting to see it. Because people love to be right.
Trying to convince family sometimes that you have a mental illness is just impossible. My mother, for one, wouldn't acknowledge it. But I decided to follow her lead and not acknowledge it either.

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

It's important to know the difference between weather and climate. Otherwise people get away with saying things like "if global warming is real then why am I cold???"
It's important to answer, "Because you're an idiot who didn't dress properly."

I am still sick. It appears that it will get worse before it gets better...Siiigh. Batten down the hatches, time for a miserable wanker sitting around the house all day doing NOTHING.

Skills.
Much like swordplay.

The only way to be good at it is to mentally wrestle down every single one of your own instincts, and then forcefully impose new, better instincts over the top.

I am now completely unable to sleep without the help of nsaids, of which I am out :(

Sleep is now replaced by a throbbing agony in my lumbar muscles, which can only be temporary alleviated by shifting into certain positions.

Woke up late, can't go shower. Washing at home isn't working out super well. Rely on deodorent, smell like filth and cinnamon. Already freaking out over work, probably gonna get fired today or by monday for til being off. And I have no idea how it keeps happening!

I AM MORE SNOT THEN MAN
Staring into the bin like "how did I, a mortal man, fill this. I'm barely eating and yet somehow I can expel my body weight from my nose over the course of a day"
Except you're sick and headachy and it comes out more like 'nnngghffuuck I have to take thhbinout again'.

I assume he's talking about the till being off (i.e. the cash register amount in there and the amount that should be in there not being equal).

Right. Sorry.

Something I could possibly be sad about- talking to my friends about having a particularly seasonal day after the season has ended. I described as the twitching after death.
A metaphor which none of my friends got. I tell them it's very common, "it's just nerves", my parents would say. I jab at them for being naive.
Then later I google post-mortem twitching and it says it only happens with incredibly violent or emotional deaths...
So now what had been a perfectly normal childhood to me has become slightly morbid.
