In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Doing stuff around the house mostly, and going to mass in the evening. And no, I do not get drunk on mass wine :P

Easter?

I mean, if you use booze to self-medicate for depression, Good Friday is as good as any a time to do it.

@Footjob, you can microwave most grains I've tried pretty easily through the microwave, even if they aren't packaged for it.

I think that somewhere along the line, I became an asshole. I'm not sure when it happened, or how long a period it happened over, but I guess I should do something about that.

Looking at baffles location made me laugh
That's a pretty happy thing compared to the rest of this terrible day
Thanks for the inadvertent smile
