Aunt and Uncle + kids visited my parents at the same time as I did.

Don't get me wrong, I love them and I love being around my cousins, but listening to stuff like

"Old people being unhealthy is completely normal, doctors shouldn't mess around with them"

Isn't the best way to spend an afternoon. At least they didn't talk about vaccinations this time.

I'll be honest I don't know you, Iron, as well as I would like of well enough to carry any sway but I do know that the taking of ones life is never a good option. Things might get better or you could make things better, change the way you view your world.
That's how it was for me a few years ago. I felt like no one cared. Like no one knew me or even noticed me and those who did only wished harm upon me. It sucks and I didn't like living for those few years but it got better, I changed the way I viewed the world, stopped caring about stupid petty things or how bad I thought my life was and continued walkng on. Life has gotten much better by simimlly removing the burden.
I hope you don't mind me mentioning scripture, I'm not sure if you have any faith in god or what your situation is but this helped me and it was somewhere along the lines of,'Do not worry about your needs for god will supply them as he does for the creatures of the earth (some mention of how he takes care of plants and supply's birds with shelter/food etc etc). So do not ask where or what you need will be coming from but instead seem the kingdom of god and his righteousness and care not for the things of tomorrow as they will settle themselves'. Or something along those lines. It helped me, though I am of faith so that might be just me and in not sure if preaching my god to others is helpful so sorry if it just adds to the burden.
Another thing I would like to mention, me having known a few people who committed suicide, and knowing a few others that have been killed by other means, that suicide is not a good solution to any problem. It is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. It brings mourning and sorrow upon everyone that knows you, it affects more than just you. Now I'm not trying to call you selfish and I'm sure you already knew/heard of this. But death by suicide will only bring sorrow into the lives of others and end yours permanently. You will never be able to do the things you enjoy, never speak to the people you like, never accomplish your dreams, never experience life, never. I can't guarantee things will get better SOON but you can change your life to be better in some aspect for if not now, later in life.
I wish I was better with words and I'm sorry you feel the way you feel Iron, please don't go.

IronTomato, I'm not going to flat out say don't do it. Instead, I'm just going to give you a tidbit of advice:

If you ever try to kill yourself, just sleep on it first. Suicidal thoughts are, for the most part, extremely temporary, and you'll find reasons not to do it if you just wait a bit.

Now, here's the big thing. People will be very, very emotional about you dying, either angry, or just sad. You will not be making the world a better place, you'll just be tearing away a chunk of what makes it a better place.

There are seven billion of us on this tiny little speck of dust, and for the future, we're all we've got. The fact is, we're all just specks unto specks. But that doesn't mean we're tiny, or unimportant. We are, as far as we know, the only sophonts in the universe, and that's good reason to band together. At the end of the day, IT, all that will matter is who remembers you and why. Let's make it a good why, eh?

I managed to stir things up that much, huh. I'm having an extremely hard time putting my thoughts into words, but here goes.

I'm having an extremely hard time believing that the future will be any different. I used to have so many things I loved to do, but now I either hate them or can't do them for some reason. There will be no things I like doing that I'll not be able to do again. Everyone I know either hates me or ignores me, so it's not like I'll be making anyone sad. I don't have anyone left to talk to, or any shoulders left to safely cry on. I am already dead. The only reason I'm still choosing not to do it is because I really just want a reason not to. Damn you all for making me stay, but also thank you so much.
