Hmm, not the core tenants perhaps, but it's all in the education. Such conditioning can cause entire nations to reject some bits of their religion without even knowing it, and take other things that aren't religion as "gospel"

Actually the part I was hiding from was the "6 people dead in 3 locations" serial shooter in Pennsylvania.

Call it work-induced PTSD, I just don't handle mass shooting incidents well anymore.

Yea, I'm starting to get numb to it, and that can't happen. We can't get numb to it, it has to be fresh every time until something changes.

Can I just say that we should stop talking about religion on the internet?

Meh, I don't particularly care if we do or if we don't.

And I think that's exactly who you want to argue it :P

Didn't large shootings used to be rare unspeakable terrible things and now they happen every other week, god this world is starting to get bad again

it's always been bad. Things haven't really changed in the grander scheme of it all.

We have sort of been floating in limbo ethically for awhile now.

They happen every other week in the USA maybe. The rest of the developed world not so much.

But no the world isn't degrading morally, that's just the illusion that a whole bunch of people seem to have for some reason.

I mean at least we used to emphasize the atrocities as being well atrocities, now they are are just every day normal news that barely phases anyone

Well, I think the Middle East has more trouble with it than we do currently. Especialy with that me Calphate trying to pop up and all.

In America, in honestly seems like we only report and empathize with certain skin colors and problems. Bad stuff happens all the time, whether the news bothers to report it, that's another story.

Well, today started off mostly good... (Besides being completely ignored by a group of people I saw today for the first time in two months because I haven't been going to early morning seminary. Not even a hello from any of them.)

And now I'm depressed again, with very brief flashes of anger. All for no reason. Well, I guess my mom has been yelling at me for being depressed and not wanting to make salad for dinner, but that was after.
I've been trying to calm myself down, but then I get a pins and needles feeling across my whole body and it messes up my concentration.
