Arg.  Blizzard released a bunch of info on its new game Overwatch, and it looks really nice but I just know its probably going to be a F2P game with a ton of microtransactions.     Its hard not to get my hopes up though.

Trainspotting isn't a particularly pleasant film to watch (for the first time) whilst hungover and feeling depressed.
Glad I finally got around to watching it, though. Had it sitting on my hard drive for ages.

Wow, I really don't like that artstyle.

I think it looks great, so much better than Blizzard's other games.

And that gameplay... jesus, everyone of those characters looks like they would be incredibly fun to play, although some seem massively OPed (hey I'm Reaper, my special ability is to kill everyone who's standing next to me almost instantly and I also have some sort of stealth/teleport).

I'm withholding judgement until I learn what kind of game they're billing it as, what their pricing model is, and to what degree that trailer actually reflects gameplay.  A lot of it seems a bit stolen from TF2 (we've got teleporter/minisentry engi and frontier justice engi) especially with the art style being old timey cartoon, but... it also looks original enough to fit into "imitation is flattery" territory in my mind.

All in all, I'm down for The Incredibles the FPS the MOBA, which is what that looks like.

Also, that the female character designs in that trailer seem really good.  They're all at the bare minimum clothed to what a normal person would wear, at least two were in full armor, and the worst seems to be Widowmaker who is still not that bad.

I'm still waiting for female designs to hit TF2. A lot of people say it will never happen, but that's double the potential hat designs.
