Plot twist: BlackFlyme's drawings are memetic Brown Notes that drive the viewer to extreme rage and disgust, because his true calling in art is hardwired to the grotesque. He is then employed by the Secret Police to deploy memetic kill agents.

Stephen King did a story like that once.

It's easy to do once you take over the mind of most of the world's literate intelligent life.

Just tried out Far Cry 3. With as much hype as it got from my co-workers and the internet in general, I'm pretty disappointed with the way the game handles. I like Skyrim and Fallout, and Far Cry feels very derivative without a whole lot to set it apart, aside from the villain on the cover.

Holy crap, why did I not start watching One Punch Man earlier? This is the best thing.
probably figured an autobiography wouldn't be interesting

I had the same reaction to Just Cause 2 a while back :/

Also I found the short story I mentioned before, about memetic kill agents. It's called Everything's Eventual, and I recommend it.

Totally shocked by Robin Williams' suicide. I know that comic genius often flows from inner troubles and that his problems with depression and alcohol were well known, but you NEVER heared anything along the lines of him being drunk on set, or having any kind of overt breakdowns. Poor man. His brilliance will be missed.

I feel kind of sad that Robin Williams likely died a hypocrite.
I really, REALLY hope it was accident.

Or maybe suicide really was the solution...

I usually don't give a fuck about celebrity deaths, but Robin Willians passing made me really sad.

At first I wasn't super sad, but the more I think about it, the more I realized how great Robin Williams was and how much each of his movies I've seen is cemented in my brain. Entire memories are triggered by the thoughts of any of them, all powerful. I don't think there's a single celebrity death that would affect me more now. I really want to re-watch What Dreams May Come, but I'm not sure I could make it through now.
It is now my goal to round up all of his movies I haven't seen yet, and watch them.

I didn't realize who Robin Williams was until Alleecat posted the pictures, and then I recognized him instantly.
He was really cool. I think I liked him in Patch Adams most.
And I'm too tired to even be depressed properly because the whole reason I came to the thread was because I couldn't get any sleep. I literally got to the point where I could feel my subconscience setting up camp five times and every time right before I could sleep, I got woken up.
I feel like I'm going to collapse, and now I'm sad.

Dead Poet's Society is a great movie if only for him.
