Played "To the Moon." Tears were shed. A giggle or two was had as well.

From what I understand, Objective is dealing with a rather different cultural context in his family about his hair. It's not an American "your hair is too long," it's an Asian "your hair is too long."

I've had three bike tires pop in the last week and last night somebody smashed the mirrors of my truck.  :(

Yeah, living in asia, I can attest that long hair on guys is very much looked down upon.
Differing per area you mean :P
Some places are just 'ok' with it. Some places its 'nope'.
Of course, these lie in the subtle details.

These details generally (and I speak mostly for the areas which are between nope/ok [in which the reality isn't a 'NO/YES' situation but of varying ideas towards the concept--long hair is ok as long as it is tidy [but rarely seen anyway].) are ok with tidy, long hair and not the frazzled and wild long hair.
I mean, if its messy and dirty, would it be liked?

The 'nope' part as far as I know only purely pertains to Singapore :v
Everywhere else is more ok-ish.

I give up. I'll cut my hair.
Any context on this or...emotional impulse?

Cut, cut, cut the hair
Mustn't let it grow!
Snippety, snippety, snippety, snip
Mustn't let it show!

Satan did it to create more jobs.

God took all the credit for it though.

Keratin. :v
They do not 'keep growing forever', but they keep growing as long as you live. They are also limited in how far they grow.
Then they fall off.

...And no. Other mammals haven't 'figured it out'. -_-

Cat-a-care. Cat barber shop.

It's still better than the cat pub, Cat-a-tonic.

no of course hair grows forever and people without hair do not possess such things as skin, hooves or shells what do you think we make our electric guitar out of? dead people's hair. and then we use the electric guitars to vibrate the potato fields so it causes an abundant harvest

are you an other mammal to know if you have it figured out or not

I read the Hunger Games. It was mostly good. The end of the games was awesome, but the way the book itself ended was dumb. Haven't read any of the other books. What's bad about Mockingjay?
