Just finished that friggin' amazing book. Now the comedown begins. :(

At least it's a continuing series. Gotta wait a couple of weeks for my copy of the next issue to arrive, though.

I cannot say this enough: stereotypes are stupid. They do nothing but reinforce negativity toward people you've never met. Yeah, some men are selfish and condescending. Then again, so are some women. Get to know the individual person, then judge if you want to, groups you want to lump them into be damned, but stop with the fucking stereotypes.

Quote from: Chesterton
For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

Also...Objective? Personal note for you: I've noticed you state things in such an...(no pun intended) Objective way that does not leave any space for reason. As in, how you state things, come off more as narrowminded ideas than not--despite the fact, personally, that you aren't...that kind of person.
Blarghgh so hard to translate emotion to text :I
If it's some kind of past experience or projection of said experience [usually bad], think about it before talking about it online or in public (debating with yourself is totally ok) as it comes off more as fact-saying than not...or your wording.
Hence the reply of stereotypes. :/

On a more serious note, I've been wondering what it means to live. You can be both alive, and also not be alive, in the sense that living has any meaning.

At the end of the day, do all of my achievements amount to anything at all? Or am I just living just because I'm alive and not because I have anything to look forward to? Due to this confusion, I tend to get dismotivated very quickly. I'm lacking general purpose, but when I try to look for one, I can't find anything.

I'm not even sure why I'm putting all my personal thoughts in here in this forum.

Clearly, it's 42.

I wish I could give you some actual support here, but I don't have the slightest idea what to say. As such, I tend to default to making jokes.

I slept in.

Shitstorm to ensue in a few hours when it's realized that I didn't go to whatever that place is today.

Everyone keeps flip-flopping on what this place actually does.

Wish I could find one. Or a trenchcoat. Either of those would make me happy, even if only for a time. :|
