Everyday I'm less certain of what I'm doing with my life. These troubles are, again, holding me up when I desperately just want to lie down and nap for a few precious, valuable hours before I got to work.

I think about getting counseling of some sort, but I can't shirk the feeling that for time and money invested, compared to the futility of the task, it's just a waste of both. Just a complete waste.

I think about maybe enrolling into a local community college, but I know deep down that I wouldn't be going there for any scholastic purpose. Again, another waste of time and money, whose value to me is dubious at best, and utterly disruptive and misguided at worst.

I think about how I'd go about reinventing myself to fit into the society that I've always felt alienated from, but I don't know how to even start thinking about a quandary like that. Sometimes I feel wise, but most other times I feel I don't even know myself.

I question, over and over, the value of my life, both to society and to myself. The sacrosanct line is especially blurry, and getting blurrier. I'm not sure what to do.

I currently can't drive a car legally. And I need to drive for a few hours to be able to fix it. Life, why you gotta Catch-22 like that?

Ooh. . . my stomach =[  I hope I'm not coming down with something.  I feel pretty horrid.
Oh no... I hope you feel better... and if not, it's okay to take a day off of work to recover!

Sad: Rushed time limits and communication.
...Group work failure due to grading.
Grading by same people in the same group with little announced beforehand on how the grading goes, as well as any structured method on how to grade..
...With multiple arguments on referencing information and whether this was plagiarized or able to convey the idea of the topic.
Subjective grading, ahoy. Class fallout. :/
Bleh... group projects and subjective grading are two of the most ass-tastic parts of certain classes. Hope things get better!

Caffeine will help alleviate most blood-pressure-related headaches. In fact, a physical addiction to caffeine can often be the cause for those! Doesn't help with being called a faggot, though; for that, I recommend taking a 2-by-4 to whoever said it.

The value of your life, or any life, cannot be calculated... but you get out of it more or less what you're willing to put into it. Until you get a handle on your self-doubt, and how to recognize concerns worth having, and pushing past the ones that aren't worth having (which seems like a good thing for you to focus on), I would advise you to spend less time ruminating about and talking yourself out of things, and more time actually doing things. Particularly so when they're good for you; you should not be so quick to talk yourself out of those things.

i got reminded of aqizzar's answering machine with the above post

for some reason i enjoyed that post

but yeah while i've already figured out my blood pressure (it's easy to take care of if you're not under pressure yourself) nevertheless thanks for the tips

also soli, you can't just tell a person who can barely make it through the working day without turning into a barrel of rage to smack someone with a rather large piece of lumber i mean i'm keeping my shit together but what if you actually made someone think "yeah good idea let's do just that"

you can't drive a car legally on public roads with a license. the proper way to play this would be find some land people will let you drive on, but good luck with that

you can also drive with an instructor who from my experience will gouge your eyes out of your wallet, wallet included

Ritual disembowelment should help with that.

They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

Are you an orthopedic specialist, by chance? How does that sort of thing happen?

Either way, sucks about the shoes. I don't think I would want to keep a pair of shoes after that.

I'm not too sure of how it happened. I was doing the special super fun trick, and when I was almost done, I noticed that a bit had dripped on my shoes, which it really shouldn't have, because I placed the stylus back in the cannula precisedly to prevent such a thing.

No way I'm throwing them away, though. I have unusually wide feet and it was HELL to find a new pair of shoes. I just gave them a good wipe and some shoe polish and good as new.
