I ate too much. Goddammit i need to stop doing that.
I ate two entire boxes of macaroni. Still hungry.
For me it was 4 or 5 Chicken Strips and a bowl of cereal. I knew eating the cereal would bite me in the ass but i love cereal so much.

Same. I can't stop eating cereal to save my life. Two boxes of cinnamon squares? Gone the same day I buy it.

Yes but sometimes my cinnamon squares betray me and make me sick and unable to sleep.

If you mean books like FaustEric, HamletWyrd Sisters, etc., those are still early books I group with his Parody-Heavy/Trope-Bashing stuff. His post 90's stuff got steadily darker, and more able to stand as stories in their own right, instead of relying on classical literature and other fantasy novels to lambast.

No, I'm just still angry about Masquerade and Night Watch.  Night Watch really loses some of its appeal once you realize he's poking fun of (saying "well you guys COULD have been so much smarter about this") an account of a revolution fought and lost by schoolboys, including the author.

So many of my friends have threatened suicide by this point that I've sadly stopped caring about them. And I'm all but invisible to my friends that aren't unstable.

HAVE YOU FUCKING READ THIS SHIT? Holy crap I'm loosing faith in humanity knowing it is so popular. Seriously, I knew it would be bad, but I never knew it was so blatantly insulting to all involved. Do any girls actually think this is romantic? Really? Really? Really? Am I to understand that women like jerks who drag them by the collar and force them into their car more than guys who attempt to be friendly? Good god we really are raising a generation of domestic abuse victims.
So very much relevant.

It's kind of long, but this guy has read all of the books and watched all of the movies and offers very detailed (and entertaining) criticisms.

It sounds like there's an easy way to solve both of those at once, if only temporarily.

That's why i have a dog. She starts whining if you don't give her attention rather than meowing, it's totally different.

Ever since a dog bit me when I was seven, my natural state of being around dogs is 'mild panic'

Once they start barking, it becomes 'Try not to run off and/or piss yourself! That'll socially crush you!'
Yeah, I tend to try to not be around large dogs because it's difficult for me to resist the urge to kill them.

It's true for me up to a point, that.  But only up to a point.

And then I say. "Those people who are successful, who live doing what they want to do. There's nothing special about them, they're the same as me, human, lazy and as smart as I am, so why can't I achieve what they did? Determination, steadfastness and a willing to move through difficult times is what I need. Maybe a bit of luck too, but I need to create opportunities for that luck to happen, it won't happen sitting on my arse."

Of course, optimism and pessimism are both warranted in equal amounts but if pessimism's going to stop me from trying in the first place, I'd much rather be optimistic and go ahead anyway. If anything, the effort and experience from trying is something more then what I had before.

Meh. Comfortable place t'live, enough means to do stuff he/she enjoys, work that apparently isn't that terrible, if they're still sticking around. No noble prize? No great contributions to humanity? Big goddamn deal. Not living up the expectations others had of th'person? T'hell with 'em. Sounds pretty decent t'me.

Stuff like that just gets on my bloody nerves. Great honkin' mass of humanity does worse off than that and suddenly you're a lesser person because you could, maybe have done better? Somethin' about it just gets under my skin. Y'aren't some kinda' waste just because you're not the bleedin' ubermensch. S'almost worse because the bugger in question starts buying into that tripe. Only thing wrong with the critter's that it hasn't figured out that its measure of happiness doesn't have to be set by comparison to someone else.
