I'm at my parent's and my internet speed is 2.5Mb/s D:

Is that a sad because it's faster than yours (And U is jelly), or because it's slower than yours?

If the latter, I have top speeds of 500Kb/s, and used to have top speeds of 100Kb/s (this lasted until about 2 years ago), so you have no right to complain!
Yes, but he lives in Europe where the streets are paved with fiber optics and there's unlimited superfast porn Internet for everyone. For like, half of what we pay.

That's only because you Europeans eat "food" instead of the American equivalent "food-like product".

Yeah... I actually kinda' wonder if they really do have vienna sausage over in Europe. The name would sorta' suggest it, but at the same time...

... I ate some, yesterday. It tasted like sadness. Not even like tears. Tears are okay. Or melancholy or whatever, no. It tasted like sad. Just... sad. Worst tasting edible thing I've eaten in quite a long time. The Ramen of meat, except worse. Europe's got better taste than that, right? That's what they say, I think.

People eat that stuff over here. It's pretty cheap. And it was pretty damned filling. Just... at a devil's price.

I get the feeling our food nomenclature laws (other than the horsemeat thing) are probably tighter than yours.

Yeah, but America has massive urban sprawl, coupled with a near-complete lack of public transport in most places.  Even with lower prices, many of us spend 10-20% of our income on fuel just commuting to work and running basic errands.

I don't know about that sometimes, mind you. Yes, we do have organic thingummies and whatnot, but they are expensive. Some students (well, I know a few anyway) live primarily off takeaways and pot noodles and microwave meals.

Me, I, uhh, 'cook' meats. I.e. put some cheese on it occassionally. I did make a steak, bacon and cheese baguette the other day and that was damn nice but even my hungover stomach was almost like COULD NOT HANDLE.
