To be honest, glass bottled soda has the best flavor. Then comes plastic bottles, then cans, then large plastic bottles like 1.25L and 2L.

Or maybe that's just me.

That mostly depends on how long you keep it with you. I typically haul around 1.5 or 2 liters, and if you drink from the bottle itself, tend to lose carbonation very rapidly. For this reason, Mountain Dew is the best soda I know of to haul around, as it has a very low carbonation to begin with when compared to other sodas, resulting in a much smaller taste degradation. And depending how slow you drink it, the taste itself will start to go downhill pretty fast after about half a week of being open & unrefridgerated. It is, after all, the perfect environment for raising young microbiota.

I don't really know what a chai latte is.  Guess I'm too cool for whatever those are.
