It's pronounced "worst-day"

At least that's how I do it.

It's just a day signifying your body's continuing downward spiral into decrepitness.

For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

Yay birthdays!

Wait. We're not in the happy thread? Why are we not in the happy thread?

Another year completely wasted. I'm growing older and nothing is accomplished, neither big or small. Nothing done at all, nothing gained, hell not even lost except time and youth. I have nothing to look forward to in the now, I have nothing to look forward to in the future. And even if it was anything worth celebrating about, I'd have no actual friends to celebrate it with.

cake is tasty.
Only if it's made of cheese or orange jelly, and I don't consider those to be cakes.

You are not human.
Human or humane?

Although thanks for the compliment either way I guess.

You're a lawyer, though! Don't you know to say - and get in writing so they can't say "I never agreed to that, you said 125 only!" - something along the lines of "125 for a simple will. If there is more to be done, the price will go up, but you will be informed of this before I do any of the price-rising work, including what the work is, why it must be done, and the price it will be,"?

Seems fairly obvious to me. >_>

Yeah, you should really have clauses in any agreement that you make wherein more work means more money.

I do.... (though in that instance I don't think it's strictly necessary).  Forgetting that for a moment....

What part of "Simple Will" relates to fighting off the IRS for not filing taxes?    ???

just put "from $125 on it" and all fees paid by whoever hired you.

Believe me when people have to buy parts for their car themselves they find how damm expensive they are and I am not robbing them.

Well we had to put it somewhere and the drawer by the sink was full.... So....

If it makes you feel better, the happy thread is about twice this size.
