Apparently telling your friends you were diagnosed with a form of mental illness is a terrible idea. Since they'll constantly ask if you took your medicine when anything is even slightly off, they'll think they're obligated to give you advice on it, and insist they need to do "Reasearch" on it to help you out.
A fair number of people I know from college were and still are on medication for mental health problems. I never tried to give advice or inquire about medication but I did read up on things. One of the main reasons I read up on things was that there is mental illness in my family which lead me to be curious.

To speak up a little for people on the other side of this: I frequently have to remind a family member to take his meds. He often falls to sleep without taking them of an evening. He has got annoyed with me for delaying his sleep but says he is grateful for the reminder. I also inquire after his wellbeing if he is acting strange or in certain ways but I don't ask anything more personal. Now I've typed this up I realise I don't know anything of your situation and what I have described is likely quite different. Said family member gets seriously ill after only a couple of days without medication. He has, apparently exceptionally, severe mental health problems :(.

Just watched Grave of the Fireflies. Holy shit... I don't think I've ever cried watching a movie before, but this one had me pretty much weeping by the end. Probably in part because the intellectual part of my brain kept reminding the emotional part of my brain that similar circumstances have happened millions of time to millions of people.

If you haven't seen it, it's worth a watch.

Dubbed; subbed stuff annoys me since it means I'm reading rather than watching the visuals, which sorta defeats the purpose of a film.

The Bandai version was the one I watched.

Really? I stick to subbed because I really, really hate some voice actors.

I am horrendously inconsistent in whether or not I watch sub or dub~
Generally though, if it has Crispin Freeman, it's a good dub~

Part of me is going oh god oh god why did I cut my hair auuuugh.

On the other hand, the entire rest of me is pretty much rejoicing, so maybe I'll just sit here and relax for a while.

Yeah, probably.

Other sad: apparently the pageboy requires bangs, but that is stupid so I'm going without them.  It's Joan of Arc enough for now.

Why's that? :/

On sadness of my own, my little brother seems to be rather disappointed with gymnasium... he never liked comprehensive school too much but was enthusiastic about studying in a gymnasium, until it started that is. Not that it "sucked" or anything like that, but he did expect a lot more.

I don't know. I guess it's just something that happens occasionally.

The last pic you put up didn't look so much pageboy as....gaah, I don't know the name for it but it's a style I associate with the 1920's and 1930's. Where there's kind of small tufts of hair to either side? It actually looks very classy-retro, IMHO.
