Trying to be a functional adult is so hard.
Goddamn this. So much this.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Yeah. I for one am failing it.

I have not washed dishes in a week, but its not to bad because I have not cooked in a week either.

I don't even enjoy playing video games anymore, so I am not a functional child either.

The only thing I do is  struggle to get to work, be lonely and feed my cat. And he doesn't even like to be petted more than about once a week.

I think you just got a huge chunk of my personality right there.

*regards chunk of personality in hands*

Maybe I can grow it, and there will be two awesome people.  Could the universe contain that much power?

While Im sure she would appreciate somebodz else who understands, she seems self-conscious enough to not wish for her problems to be inflicted on another separate person.

Sometimes the best waz to fix crap like this is just faking it. Think up everzthing a (Oh fuck finding punctuation kezs) `Real Adult` would do and make a schedule. Follow the schedule and do what zou gotta do. I have no real help for motivation as Im also looking for answer to that, but after zou make the first step things ease up. Things will get better buddies.

Todaz's dungeons and dragons session went prettz well. Lots of arguing happened though, which was quite frustrating. Zou'd think thez'd know how to deal with a yombie horde.

I think I have the flu.  I have a headache, fever, chills, all that but no congestion, coughing, or any of that.

This wouldn't be a big deal but if I do have the flu and the lung issues just aren't appearing for me, I could give it to my grandma and she has emphysema.  She could die if she gets the flu.

Me too for pretty much everything you said except I don't have a cat. I do take my dad's dog for a walk every so often.

Probably going to have to kill my dog soon. Only reason she's still alive, I think, is that she's too stupid to know she's supposed to. Better than the cat, though. She's getting by on pure mean these days.

One of my stores had no power today, and I cannot go back later and get the assignment done, as it had a time limit. :-\

I've had a massive headache all day long :(. Also, the heat and humidity went up and made me even more miserable. I can't focus or really think at all at this point... I can't wait for fall.

We are currently getting "rain". I say this because I'm pretty sure it's not precipitating, it's condensing, just like 5 feet off the ground or so. Seriously, it is way too hot and the humidity is truly obnoxious.
