The only thing that's worse, is when the teacher adjusts the pace to the weakest link, after the introductionary part...

The off-topic in both threads tend to be fairly happy, however, so it detracts more from this thread.

Yeah, I've wound up writing about writing short stories.  The only problem is that my brain keeps on supplying the information I'm supposed to write down in Japanese.

Blarg, I will not stop saying blarg when I feel saying the word blarg is needed. It's similar to bleh and bluh, but more extreme. Also, I happen to have decent parents. It would be nice to stay on their good side.

It's funny, 'cause just about everyone else has been saying blerg and blurg instead, since I began my campaign of pestering .

And if it's your own money, what right do they have to restrict your use of it? If you're fourteen then yeah, that makes sense, but three thousand bucks worth of cheques or whatever you said does not sound like the domain a fourteen year old.

I'd always wind up writing humorous essays, if the assignment given wasn't challengning enough. Not that it made me very popular with my english teacher, but he knew I was his best student and at least I had some fun.
Still, he refused to give me an A grade until my graduation

You know how it is in introductory language classes, where you're expected to write three little paragraph-long essays every week?  And you end up writing about where you live, your family, your friends, and so on ad nauseum?

I feel your pain. The german teacher is roasting us with that kind of homework.
