Seeming as people asked for it, I'll put my story here. But I warn you this is not for the weak of heart.

I'm going to blunt with you, cause I couldn't be arsed mincing words. For the first twelve years of my life, although I don't remember the first eight, my parents kept me locked in my room and forced me to have sex with people for money, they were addicted to most kinds of drugs, and it was an easy source of income. These people did all sorts of depraved crap to me, luckily I was drugged for most of it, unless it was a special case, where they wanted me to scream in pain.
So this all stopped one day when I was going to the toilet and my dad came in and started kicking the crap out of me, my bedroom was soundproofed, the toilet wasn't. A neighbour heard and called the police, the bastards were done for child abuse. Unfortunately, there was no evidence of what they really did, and I wasn't even capable of speech, so the fuckers got away with a few years, I was sent to a foster home with a mother who mentally abused me, then I was raped, got pregnant, was kicked out and met Yumi. And now here we are, pretty much

The police... are generally pretty serious about this sort of thing.  There are stories of people who successfully report their parents later in life.  Not sure if doing that would help any, though.
