... I don't know anything about formalized grammar, either (copula verb?  WTF?).

Is. Or rather, to be.

Got a letter from the city. A police officer took a photo of our dog in the yard and cited that we were neglecting the dog. People from the city are coming on the 21st.

It's true we leave him outside most of the day, but we can easily supervise him from the windows and we never leave him outside all day, every day we let him out at eight in the morning, bring him in at around 1 for lunch and leave him out 'till sunset, when we bring him in for the night. That schedule is smattered with playing and walks. So it's not neglect. But I fear they won't listen to this and take him away anyway. And there isn't any evidence of what we have done beyond our word and whoever took the photo.
Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat

I can see tying him up in the backyard all day and night, but this?  Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Hrmm…
I think I'll stick with Japanese.
1月、2月、3月、4月、5月、6月、7月、8月、9月、10月、11月、12月。
Where 月 is the counter for months. :P
I know man, I was like :).

And then I saw the days of the month, and I was like :(.

As for the alphabet, I can't do standard, but I have qwerty memorised.
That's actually... pretty cool.  Why would you need to know it?  I mean, I guess I could reconstruct it through touchtyping on nothing...

Vector, was that a joke?  Because you missed out May :P.

To be fair, that's the one I tend to forget.

*shrug*

I can't ever remember that month.  Not even in English.

(This is why I now feel stupid, as opposed to a couple of years ago when I felt intelligent despite my occasional inability to remember piffling details like "what day of the week it is" and "how to spell occurrence" and "if it really goes kingdom, phylum, order, class, family, genus, species, or if it goes some other way I don't know about" and "what's a choanoflagellate, anyway")

Don't tell me what a choanoflagellate is--I remember.  But I really have to stop spending so much time socializing and goofing off.

I know the German word for fainting spells, but I sometimes have trouble remembering what season it is or figuring out that I need to eat ;_;  How sad...

I just checked, and it seems that it's a verb that connects subjects and adjectives.  Very exciting.

I can remember the top line and the first two of the second mainly because of qwertyuiopas the forumite.

I actually do know that one of all things, but only because of my Japanese class and the verb 'desu'.

Hehe, yes, that is a much better definition. Although an even better definition is a verb that functions as an equals sign. Or that arrow thing from chemistry. Common copular verbs are: be, means, seems, implies, signifies, becomes, includes.

It is a very interesting type of clause because it allows you to attach new meanings to words. It's like language's reproductive function (hehe copula).

They probably should have put those in spoilers. The update made me sad too. Until the sadness was consumed in rage.

I dunno, I don't mind the update.

Probably because I KNEW WHAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN.

It's official. I cannot, absolutely cannot have a day where I'm feeling antisocial, or I get reamed by everyone in the house for being antisocial, leading me to further want to be alone, leading them to yell at me more.

I fucking hate people some days.
