1984 is a horrible book.  Why is this turning into a romance novel.  I already know there isn't going to be some badass war against Big Brother now since I'm like half way done with the freakin thing.  That really sucks.
it gets worse trust me.

The hell's wrong with you? It's a great book. The Black Dossier version is better, though. :3

It makes more sense if you remember that Alan Moore wrote it.

Wife duped me into going to a church today. There were upward of 1000 people in there. Had a panic attack and had to leave.

From the crowd or the church?

From the crowd, I think. If it was the church, I doubt he would have included the bit about the 1000+ people.

Don't get me wrong, I certainly dislike churches, but they hold no mystical power over me.

Holy crap, why did I not start watching One Punch Man earlier? This is the best thing.

Pimple on my face, any attempt to burst it is very painful, to the point of making my eyes water.  Yet I know this thing must die.

Hey, have you ever heard of the Triangle of Death?

Every time I see fingerless gloves I can't help but have Stalker flashbacks. And I don't think Stalker had that many fingerless gloves, it's just my headcanon for rogues in the barren wastelands after The Good, The Bad And The Ugly.

I would bet money Andrew has edited things retroactively, except I can't prove anything because it was edited retroactively.

Damnit, Main Office. Half of the books we get in that come pre-stickered are done so incorrectly, so us glorious Temps have to go through the dozens and dozens of boxes, re-applying hundreds of offer stickers, before we can put the damn things on the shelves.

Still, work's work. And £7.50 an hour, 7 and a half hours a day, for 15 days is.... well worth the time.

Why is Vector wearing fingerless gloves?  Is she hitting the road for a life of adventure as a mathematical mercenary?

I'll be honest, my conception of fingerless gloves has always been colored by Soldier of Fortune, myself.

I'd have actually argued in favor of the book, but I don't really care. It was just an opportunity to reference the Black Dossier in a relevant fashion. :P

I recommend watching Brazil instead. It's basically 1984, but better.
