Something about Kermit the Frog can turn a mildly sad song into something gutwrenching
Thank you for destroying my childhood.  :o

Although to me, Cash's cover is still the quintessential version. I can't listen to that one without getting a little clutched in the throat.

The candidate that I "supported" (wrote a positive article for him) in the CAWCD board elections in Arizona lost. 3 "big government" candidates and 2 "tea party" candidates won those elections. The candidate that I "supported", Arif Kazmi, was a "big government" candidate and received 6% of the vote. The candidate with the most popularity, tea-partier Cynthia Moulton, won 11% of the vote.

I'm stuck in my room. It's midnight, and I'm tired. But I can't go to sleep until my dad gets out of the living room because I have to get the laptop back in the case or he'll know I was up. D:
I thankfully never had to deal with this bullshit.

Sunday when I stayed up all I night Saturday I came walking down that morning to see my Mother sleeping and my step Dad sitting on the couch.  He's like, "Did you stay up all night?" and I was like "No way man."  He just laughed.  They honestly don't care as long as I don't hurt myself or miss school.  They say it's good I stay home instead of "causing trouble in the streets" or whatever anyway.  Why is it that every other person I know have stuck up parents that only seem to actually make the kid feel worse.
They aren't actually stuck up. If anything, they're very free-wheeling. But they do have very definite boundries and if it's time to go to bed it's time to fucking go to bed.

So they have moments of enforcing strict rules?
