I was having fun emptying the paper shredder and other assorted mail into the fire receptacle, whereupon I came back to my room to play games.

However, Only now, upon pausing it for some other reason, do I realise I'm finding it incredibly hard to breathe.
There was plastic in that fire.
I'm gonna go outside for a bit now.

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

Things that made me sad today?

Losing the game a good 8 - now 9, DANGET - times.

Oh, and I ended up doing the wrong homework for one of my classes. 2 hours down the drain.  :-\

I'm fine. Coughed and spluttered, drank some juice.
There ain't nothin' juice won't fix.

And thanks for your concern.

Edit: There wasn't any smoke in the house at all, but I opened up all of the windows to clear the air anyway. I can smell the fumes from the other side of the house.

And it's the middle of winter. And that's what made me sad today.

Winter would be the best thing to have right now, I despise summer. The only redeeming quality is time off from school. It's better than the alternative of being stuck in my school during the summer though. It has no windows, and rather poor air conditioning.

You know, I wouldn't object going to school in the summer if it would start at say, 12:00.
Anyway, school starts tomorrow, and I'm sad because I can't get up at noon anymore. Getting up at seven is painful, no really, I get back aches.

I wish America wasn't so adverse to the idea of switching over to a school schedule that mimicked those in other countries, like in European countries.

I heard those were good, with school being all year round, but the days being shorter and school schedules more lenient.

Shit, I would not want to go to school at noon.  That would be horrible.

Would you rather get up at six in the morning?
Also, you guys get off school on Sundays, we Israelis don't, we learn six days a week.

Wait... wait what?

I'm saying you should politely explain the situation to him, and if he doesn't understand, then don't go out of your way to try to remain friends with him. Most of all, don't fret over it.

Life is not in want for such frivolous exertions.

I say he shouldn't bother. The other guy is the one in the wrong. I dont think he should either apologize for someone else's "hurtful term usage" nor bother keeping a "friend" that didn't think it twice before defriending him.

Hell yeah I would want to go at 6am, it's always better to start things in the morning instead of dragging around waiting for school to start.

You guys are all crazy.  Children need a regular vacation.  Gives them something to look forward to.  Not to mention, it saves quite a bit of money in most American schools, since they don't have to run the air-conditioning during summer, which I think is how summer-vacation actually started.  Seven-eight hour school days were perfectly fine to me as long as you change classes every hour or so.  What else were you going to do for a couple hours?
