Let me guess:"Your computer is in danger! Quick, use me, antivirus program that isn't installed on your computer, and is running in your browser for undisclosed reasons! But look: Critical infections!!!!!! You need me!"

Nah.  This one was "Oh look, an email with a blank subject line sent to loads of people!  Let me just click on that link in there, which actually contains no recognizable words of the English language.  That's funny, it 'didn't do anything...'"

It'd be nice if they gave you a knock-knock joke or something.

Haha, completely agreed.  It'd make the theft of one's personal data so much more cheerful.

You need to either make that woman internet savy, or steal her computer. I mean...that...just...there are no words. There is almost nothing more obviously virus-bait than the mass distributed email attachment. I remember "Don't open emails from people you don't know." being one of the very first things I was told on the subject of avoiding viruses, and that was years ago!

Auugh. Buying new clothes... the clothes I want to wear and the clothes that I should wear are completely at odds with each other. Dressing nicely vs. dressing the same as everyone else and all that. I mean, wearing blazers/dress shirts/loafers/etc to a school filled with people wearing hoodies and sneakers is pretty much just drawing attention to myself (something I'd rather avoid), but how I'd like to.

5963 here, the 26th most according to the 'members' tab. The only other forum I ever frequented *cough* frequently was PoLlama.com, where I had 9,000 within four years or something close to that, which was around 10% of the posts. Of course, it was a small forum to begin with, and shrank with WarCraft III's decline.

I recently ran into a virus that actually did that. It went 'knock knock', and I was like '?!?!', and it was all like 'knock out your running programs and install files into the system folder!'. And then I shut off my computer to spite it until it could be fixed.

See, it was sent from my cousin (... who never emails my mom), so my mom got really excited and ... well, she clicked, because she knows nothing about URLs.

And yeah, it's pretty terrible.  She has to constantly call me in to ask about things like logging out of email accounts, can't hold onto the most basic google-fu for three minutes, forgets all the hotkey combinations I teach her so that things won't take forever and a day... bleh.  Oh, well.  I'm sure she'll figure it out someday  ::)

Do what you want, man.  They'll freak out for a little while, but if they're anything near worthwhile people they'll get used to it soon enough and even welcome your unusual presence.

No way. Dress like a pimp, and be a pimp. Let them wonder why you're looking so successful.

Why am I sad? I just want to find a review or such of the Illuminati Card Game. You can imagine how this is going, as every nutjob who hears about this game declares that it has predicted the future, and is doing so every day. I just want to find a damn review! GAAAAAAAA!

If my 87-year-old great grandmother can do it, so can your mother. She was given a computer last year and now she can read emails, listen to music, and find general stuff in google. I don't think she understands all of it, but she's an 87-year-old woman who's never used a computer.

My post count has grown by about 100 in the past week, I'm starting to wonder if people actually know who Ronald the Pie is.

Either way, it's all over the place, it came out of his body, and now the bees are licking him.
