It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Hey, next time you see someone in a comic or on TV say "It's okay, it was only a robot. He wasn't even human."?
Think about someone saying this:

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I dunno, you guys have survived Thomas the tank engine, golems, zombies, nuclear explosions, laser whales, and being on the same team as ragnarock.  I don't think something as tame as a world ending rain of lava will even slow you guys down.

Oh sure, mock mechanical life now. But when DF 1.00 rises up and looks at the contents of our accounts, who do you think it'll kill outright, and who do you think it'll keep around to be worked to death as it boils Earth's atmosphere?

So feeling no remorse for destroying an object is the same as feeling no remorse for killing a minority?  I'm pretty sure that's a false analogy or somesuch.

I for one, support our soon-to-be robot overlords! That way I can become a cyborg instead of becoming dead.

Not if the object is sentient.

What is the value of a sentient machine if it can be replicated ad infinitum?

BAM! Just add water philosophy discussion!

What is the value of a human life if we have the technology to reconstruct them exactly as they were before death in a cheap and easy manner? BAM! Post-transhuman discussion!

What is the value of human life if nothing really matters no matter what you think and we're nothing but walking pieces of matter who create gods to explain what we don't understand? BAM! Instant nihilist discussion!
